I thought they carried the genetic information of both? Or the memories or something.

The father's DNA is used to randomize the mother's DNA information while the nervous systems are linked. So the information in the DNA is used, but the actual genetic material itself is not. There's several asari in ME2 talking about the "myths" surrounding the use of other species' DNA that explain this quite clearly (like the "blue rose of Illium" who's afraid her krogan lover just wants to have children and might not understand that the children wouldn't be krogan).

Still possible. TRUE hybridization between humans and quarians is also possible. You could make a super-species from human and quarian DNA, used as a baseline for an extremely complex polynucleated cell. It cane be done. It would only be possible after the Synthesis ending, since everything everywhere's DNA is completely rewritten to an unknown extent somehow, even plants.

Of course it would have to be that in the only far-fetched, theoretical scenario where Shepard and Tali could have a child, one of the pairing is already dead.

I wonder what Tali will do after the nervous breakdown of being on a strange planet, Shepard presumed dead in the Citadel explosion and Rannoch unreachable. I hope I remembered to program EDI to keep her away from cliffs...

And even in this scenario I find my brain screaming, "NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" though not for the same reasons as usual, more along the lines of the logistics behind instantly converting every organic/synthetic being and merging them. Just NO.

In multiplayer i am quarian, my avatar is quarian here. In real life I have a condition which increases my metabolism and thought prosess, i talk like a salarian in real life, that is normal for me. If i was in the me universe? Perhapse a quarian.

In my headcanon version of the destroy ending, the child AI was exaggerating the effects the crucible would have on EDI and the geth. EDI was severely damaged, but not a total loss.

Tali distracts herself by focusing on fixing EDI, which is an important first step in getting the Normandy rescued. After EDI is fixed, they can fix the QEC (which Tali couldn't do by herself because she's an expert on AI but not on quantum entanglement) and let the Alliance know where they are. They pretty much have to be close enough to be rescued with regular FTL (even if they made it all the way to Arcturus that's still only 36ly, 3 days on regular FTL). And then she and Shep are reunited.

A child that could eat, and gain nutritional value from, any type of food from earth or rannoch, be immune to every virus in existance, be resistant or immune to every other infection in the galaxy, and generally have the best of quarian and human anatomy. Less squishy, AND doesn't need to wear an envirosuit. And tali gets a baby.
