This thread moves pretty fast, so I hope people see this... Anyway...

You know what annoys me about the Tali romance? Aside from some flirting during the geth dreadnought mission, it seems kinda one-sided. As if Tali cares more about Shepard than he does about her.

Example: Shepard can say "I love you" to just about every other LI, but not Tali. Not even so much as an "I care about you" or "I'm going to built you that house one day".

I don't know, maybe I'm nitpicking.  The game doesn't adequately portray my love for Tali'Zorah.

I dont think Bioware likes us enough to make DLC about a Quman. ..... But if it did happen, I'd guess around $25 or so, after a lot of hype trailers.

I believe total and complete indifference is what we get from there at the moment...and this can't be too hard a DLC to make, if they sell it for more than 10, they're again trying to milk us.

Why exactly, by the way, would they be infertile? Humans mutate, Quarians adapt - most likely some of them would be born differently enough to have working reproduction with one or the other species...and maybe over time with each other?

Mass Effect 3 endings. We are cows to be milked.

That is not how biology works. At all. You can't adapt to reproduce with someone whose DNA doesn't even have the same basic chemistry as you.

In the Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, you can tell LIARA that You fight to get Tali a homeworld.
I try to look at it as either A) Shepard says all that stuff off-screen or Shepard and Tali have a psychic connection.
But yes, I, too wish I could've had Shepard be MUCH MORE AFFECTIONATE towards Tali. Like, when you go down to engineering, you can hug her at any time. Should be simple enough to make, right?

Btw, if space magic can mess up the galaxy and screw over all science in 5 seconds, I'm sure something can be done about human-quarian reproduction. But I assume the ending never happened.

Sorry, Dil. I tried, but I can't see it the way you do. It's glaring me in the face that all the solar systems got destroyed. Tali and Shepard are separated forever until Bioware fixes it. I can't rationalize any other explanation.

Well, I have to believe you there since my biology knowledge is behind some other subjects, but I also believe that trying to use logic on the mass effect universe is very futile since we all know the writers like to abandon it if it fits them.

However, I also do not know of anything genetically engineered to be fertile, so I have to agree that Qumans would probably be like a jennet, and they would be infertile or sterile due to an incomplete reproductive system, not because of different species. If you get Qumans genetically engineered with a full set of chromosomes, I believe due to mutation it could still happen.

Indeed.  I was hoping for at least another Tali hug in this game.
