You adapt to it. Failing that, it makes dips in the water so much nicer...
I would not recommend stripping down to your underwear like Shepard would do if he was living on Rannoch. A/C, a bath or something else should be a better way to cool down.

Good point about Ashely.sergio71785 wrote...
When I was younger, I never cared for alcohol at all; I downright thought it was stupid for people to willingly handicap their own mental abilities. But as I've gotten older, I've gotten cooler with it. I personally rarely drink, and when I do it's not even enough to get me buzzed. But I don't have a problem with someone drinking responsibly. Of course, Tali went beyond merely getting buzzed, but she wasn't even close to being wasted or anything, and she was trying to drown out her thoughts some, which I can understand considering everything that's been happening. At least she didn't end up on the floor, incapacitated, like Ashley.
I also liked it when Tali said "i'm having a drink with my boyfriend, my human boyfriend"
yay

Yeah, I really liked that line. It was so nice to see her reference her relationship like that.
I also really liked her "You're the only one that gets to go into my suit" (something like that) line, which might be the hottest thing she's said in the trilogy.

I dunno, where I live it hits 100+ degrees Fahrenheit in the summer quite often, sometimes even up to 110+. On top of that, its very muggy and humid, which makes the heat even more unbearable, while I hear dry heat is not nearly as bad. So I'm pretty sure that if I can (barely) handle 115 degrees of humid death, I could survive decently on "nice" arid Rannoch.
It also helps that I'm warm-natured, or whatever you call it when you're comfortable in heat and hate the cold...
Besides, I don't think that Tali would complain if Shepard had to traipse around in shorts and a t-shirt all the time.

I'm probably wrong with my understanding of exaggerated anatomy, but something just looks off. (Was playing Mass Effect 1 earlier, and...abusing the camera angle during elevator rides, lol)

Nah, can't see her complaining. 120F dry heat is nothing. Sure, you'll wake up in a puddle but... livable.

Strangely enough, for a line that important I can't seem to remember when she said it.

Indeed, it was nice. Their relationship goes deep enough that they don't always make it obvious.

Yeah, I live in a place that's similar. Very humid and hot during the summer, around the same temperatures some days. Usually by then I'm either swimming or have bajillions of fans going. As far as dry heat goes, it's not as bad. In terms of Rannoch being arid, I could probably bear it...maybe. Would need a swimming pool or a lake or something though.

I kinda wish Rael were alive. It'd could've been neat to go from Paragon-Interupt dodging his punches to some kind of "When she first got back from her pilgrimage, she wouldn't shut up about you. Part of me was happy that you had been killed... it meant I didn't have to worry about my little girl being taken from me. But somehow, you came back from the dead and took her anyway. I know we haven't seen eye to eye in the past, but I know you're a good man. You love her as much as she loves you. You would die for her... and as her father, I couldn't ask for a better than that."

Sounds like a great scene and interesting idea for a fan fic. Somebody should get on that.

She says it in the conversation before she gives you the picture, but only if the geth survived. She talks about geth helping the quarians' immune systems by uploading to volunteers' suits to mimic diseases or something. Shepard then asked if she was going to try that, to which she responded with that line.

Max observed temp hovering around/near 50C from several OAT gauges in Al Taquaddum. Rannoch temps are said to be similar.
Considering current space-suit technology, I'd have to say yes on temp control.

I must ask. I have seen many people upset because of Tali getting drunk in Mass Effect 3. Does this bother you guys? I didnt mind the scene at all.
It was certainly a unique scene; I never expected to see her drunk given that she was a quarian. Though for me, the scene tends to have less value than it does to others. It does give a unique insight though, as she states her father would have hated Shepard if he knew Tali was dating him. However, she's lucky his father is dead; I would have railed his ass with renegade responses and interrupts if I saw him alive. I may have even shot him if I had the chance, although given what happens to characters when they are renegade shot in Mass Effect 3, I probably wouldn't try. Plus, I think Tali would break off the relationship if I shot her father with no due reason.
It was unexpected but good to see. It made her more realistic really. She's always had issues with her father and his legacy and how he treated her. And she is smart enough to see the parallel. Considering the pressure everyone is under at that point it was a good way to let off some steam. I kind of imagine Shep carrying her to bed after she gets totally hammered lol.
It helps cement one nice thing about Tali, in ME3 she really becomes her own woman. You see her move out of the shadow of her father. Like Shep says "The admiral, not the admiral's daughter." I didn't realize people did not like that scene.

Ah, I don't have liquid cooling, thought about it though. Maybe I'll get it later on down the road.
