Yes I noticed that. It's like revan can draw an image super quick to comment on the current subject. Amazing indeed.

I noticed this too.  In ME2, I liked Gerrel and he liked Tali.  Koris was the opposite.  Then, in ME3, it was backwards.

Addendum: I could not hit the "stab Kai Leng" Renegade trigger hard enough.

Now, to change the topic back towards being more Tali-oriented...

Inquiry: As previously stated, my next ME2 Shep will be a Renegade... ish. Now, if I do choose to try to romance Tali... will picking the bottom/Renegade options in conversation with her still allow a chance for romance? Or do I have to stick with the top/Paragon options in order for them to have an opportunity for a relationship?

As I understood it in ME2, top options were Paragon/nice, while bottom was Renegade/jerky. ME3 kinda mixed me up on that, though... Maybe I've had it wrong all along?

Listening to "I was lost without you" from the ME3 soundtrack.... Anyone else a little miffed that the "third portion" of the track didn't end up in the Tali romance? Or is it just me...

You're not alone. They seemed to pass off Tali and Garru's romance. For Garrus, he kissed Femshep. For Tali, Shep looked like he was either about to remove her mask and kiss her or kiss her mask...? Idunno. Killed the music too fast for those scenes(then again, Tali and Garrus didn't get the worst romance treatment...I feel for the Thane and Jacob romancers).
I was a bit miffed that they had at least 3 opportunities to show Tali's face model though. Let's see:

Rannoch after killing the Reaper
Love scene
Possibly rekindle scene as well

...Trying to think of another.

The only one you can pick as far as I know is the "You're embarrassed?" option when she talks about her fever and quarians linking suit environments. The neutral "It's too dangerous" option also starts the romance, but it's neutral. Anything else has to be paragon to tell her you want to be with her. Any renegade option tells her you want to be friends last I read.

Edit: formatting sucks.

No, it still is mostly the same.
and if you pick the renegade options when talking to tali, you think she would like you? If you were talking to someone, and they kept being a jerk to you, I don't think you would like that very muchImage IPB
Same goes for Tali, I would guess

It's certainly not "fail". The fact that you can generate images fast enough to be almost in-line with the thread is impressive as-is.

Garrus has become more and more "renegade" as time has gone on, but he's still a good guy, and has grown closer to Shepard.  You can tell they're best friends.  I liked that.

Tali is stronger, but still very much the same girl that Shepard fell in love with.  Good character development for everybody in this game, really.

The sad thing is that I played a pure Paragon, and I tried very hard to steer Garrus away from being a Renegade.  My next playthrough (I've only done one...) will be a mostly-Renegade-with-some-Paragon-because-I'm-too-nice.  I'm kinda scared to see how Garrus will turn out...

Also, can't decide if I want my Renegon (or whatever you call them) to romance Liara, or Tali.  I think he'd fit better with Liara, but...... Tali.  XD

My renegade Shep romanced no one in ME1, and Miranda in ME2. He's a complete and utter jerk to everyone, including Tali, so it didn't feel right to romance her. I originally didn't intend to romance anyone, but then it turned out to be possible to romance Miranda using renegade dialog, so I ended up doing that. Now they can go off making jerk-face babies.

In ME3, I kept my opinions on the admirals from ME2. Because of that, I was happy when I found out that you get to punch one in the gut, and I was sad that it wasn't Korris who could be punched.

I am content that Rannoch is the best track in the OST.  That more than makes up for it.

Nah, it's about the same. There are "pivotal" points in the conversations where you should pick "paragon" over the others though. One instance (of a non-pivotal) convo is when you say "I can't tell beneath the helmet... are you blushing?" is a renegade option, but in no way affects your chances and in my opinion makes the scene that much cuter.

True.  Though I do recall during the romance banter in ME2, there was a bottom/Renegade option to accuse her of blushing.  I thought "Oh, that could be cutesy if said in a playfully teasing manner."  But then I realized it probably lacked the "playful" aspect...

Though, on the flip side, some top/Paragon options I've chosen before were horrifying.  Particulalry when I basically told Primarch Victus "Hah, serves you right!" when his son died.  How is that Paragon!?

It's good enough to have been the actual theme for Mass Effect 3.

I count it as such, especially consideirng romancing Tali.  I pretty much consider ME3 as having ended with Rannoch, all things consider.  I just pretend that one on Rannoch was Harbinger and call it a day lol.

When me and Tali sit down on the cliff at the end of it all, I just kinda...pretend that's where the credits start rolling, with my love interest and I settling down on her home world.

Perfection: without it, there can be no art.
Getting by: Accepting the mistakes you made with your art.
Not Caring: Not fixing the mistakes you made with your art even when they are glaringly obvious.

Mass Effect 3 endings. I learned from them what NOT to do when being artistic.
But thank you, :) I am touched.

Well, as you know in 3, there's a lot of auto dialogue...I miss ME1's style, where EVERYTHING needed your approval to say. Took a while but I had full control of what I wanted to say. ME2 shortened it a bit but there was still a lot of control. I don't like how they assume what you'd say since there were a lot of times where I was like, "WTF?! I would never say that!"

Also Revan, your pictures are a better ending than Mass Effect 3. and your pictures aren't even endings!

That's all of that kind of fanart I have anyway. Found in this thread or the index of /Tali. I have seen some pretty strange  fanart in that index though.
If Tali's crying over it, I guess I'll have to wipe it from my hard drive.:P

Ah, see....  You posted this like right as I was posting about the same exact thing.  Well, at least now I know my next Shep can be a cutesy jerk if that scene comes up again.

....which it probably will.

Also, this thread moves so fast!  And even worse, I forget to go back and check for edits to people's posts!  Gah!

I agree. Half of my time playing ME3 was spent screaming at my monitor because of the lack of choices, choice that should have been given and was not there, or Shepard saying something completely different from the dialouge "choice" I picked. :pinched:
