Granted at the time she was best known as the bionic woman, but still.
(I'm seriously not joking about me being named after her, my parents are really that dorky)

I understand why you would be reluctant to have kids named after computer game characters now. Still there are worse names that would have been around at the time. At least no one would guess the references without being told it. You could have been called Leia or Uhura.
