That can be a classic double geek. Carrie Fisher and Stephen Kings Carrie in one. It's kinda cool, but you'd have to be wary of the prom I guess. That and giant frog like aliens. Tali as a childs name is not that bad. Not like naming your kid Wrex or Garrus or Raan. Considering there is already a woman's name - Talia, Tali would not be too far of a stretch.

I should try the MP, I have an xbox.  The one time I tried I was in a game with abunch of lvl 18+ players they then quit the game lol.  They need some level matching.

Personally, not a fan of the name. Would not name my child Tali.
Would name her Luna or Summer, or some other variety of name.
Maybe Stacy, just so I could have it going on.

Okay, to get back on topic. I've been poking around the forums and it looks like someones found a solution to the issues of Engineering room conversations not turning up in ME3 if you chose Kaiden over Ash to survive on Virmire. This is mostly about Ken/Gabby stuff, but there were a few bits that involved Tali and I know some were disappointed not to get them so here's what was posted:

It's int 10330 and 10314. Their combined value has to be atleast 8 To make Gabby and Ken Banter.

You can either set 10314 or 10330 as 8. As long as their combined value is 8 or higher, then they will start bantering.

It will most likely screw up conversations with Ashley. But im not exactly sure in what way. But if your running with Kaidan, then it should be pretty safe.

EDIT: It would seem the engie section checks the [conditional_863] which either requiers int 10314 + 10330 to be atleast 8 or higher, or that boolean 19724 is set to true

Though I like the name, imagine how nerdy it would be to name a child Tali. It would be like that couple that named their kid Dovahkiin.

That's understandable. But it would be fine if you named your child Tali with no knowledge of Mass Effect yes? I don't really see it as nerdy. I would like to consider the name Tali for my daughter if I have one becuase I really like the name, not becuase I'm weird and want to my my child after a character in a computer game.

Awesome!....or not...

Edit: you could try Gamer_Girl, but with all the framerate problems that game has? The kid would've grown up, left school, acheived his diploma in scandinavian art and culture and wrote several books on the subject by the time it reached its destination.

Yeah, they named their kid born on 11/11/11 Dovahkiin. Bethesda gave them free games for life I think. And yes, if you name your kid Tali because you like the name, thats alright. If you name her because of the character though...

Tali's not too bad a name; I'd still hesitate to name my kid after a fictional character though. I don't think Tali would work too well with my (very very Dutch) last name either.

Cats are another matter though... I could easily see myself having a cat named Tali in the future (as already established: Tali's a kitty). It'd still be more original that my parents' first cat, which was named "Poes" (dutch for "****cat"). I guess I know where I got my lackluster naming skills from.

Just like how it's unheard of for a guy named Jeeves to be anything but a butler.
Or a chick named Cleopatra to be anything but a stripper.
