Yea there are a lot of variables Bioware needs to consider for the Tali romance
-Exiled
-Dead
-Unloyal
-Relationship with Legion
-Cheating romance or not

That's where the "1000s" of variables when importing come in.

I have only just recently romanced Tali, and I found her to be one of the best written and touching in either game.

To degrade Miss Vas Normandy to a VS cameo is a crime.

Well she is a confirmed squaddie, so she is definately more than passing cameo.

While I have not done a playthrough like it yet, I am curious about this whole cheating thing in ME3.

Oh, I was not aware.

Thank Keelah (I believe that is thier god)

If you want more info on ME3 in general, just check out Pheadons thread. He keeps most of the spoilers out of it, unless you specifically go to the story page. He has sources for every bit of info, I was just elated to learn that everyone from ME1 who is alive (save wrex) will return as a squaddie. Tali especially.

Alas, if it weren't made completely impossible by lore, the idea of Tali/Shepard children would be fine. As it is, it's about as impossible as a krogan/batarian baby (Ew.)

Alienmorph wrote...Off course, I bet that the "do not ingest" suggestion of Mordin works for Tali too

i wonder what will happen in M3 with the geth situation after siding with tali in M2. I know you can still gain legion's loyalty but still makes me wonder. Geth are synthetic so maybe they know what the definition of betrayal means but dont or cannot comprehend it. Don't mean to get off topic here.

I imagine it has something to do with that one decision during that one characters loyalty mission.

I still got Legion's loyalty while destroying the Geth base. Really hope it doesn't mean I can't get a Quarian & Geth fleet flying to battle on the same side, but at least I can say, I was only following LI orders! Image IPB

I think he's referring to the confontation between Tali and Legion. Anyway, I think the Quarian/Geth sideline will be major for the Reaper effort. Tali will be central in the plot along with maybe some splinter groups from both sides believing peace is unreachable.

*cough, cough, Daro Xen, cough* :bandit:

Leading to a cohesive victory with Shepard, Tali and Legion quelling both sides' fears of the other. Then there is quick rejoice before uniting and marching off to fight the Reapers.

The interesting thing, though, is that from the screen shots shown at E3, it looks like all of the Admirals are still in the same room.

Bodes well for a united Fleet, doesn't it? Image IPB

I wonder if we'll get to see the Admiralty do their overruling in ME3? Now that would be a cool cutscene.

Did tali really choose a side? go to war, or find a peaceful alternative?

I never said it couldn't actually be solved peacefully. If Shepard can talk down Saren, or anyone else in the galaxy, I doubt anyone could withstand Shepard's piercing stare. Even Harbinger would have trouble locking into his/her unwavering gaze.

*needs picture of distantly gazing Shepard.*

edit: <---- one right there.

Never underestimate the power of Upper Left Blue.

The Galaxy: But Shepard, we don't want to...

Shepard: You will do as I say. The Shepard has spoken.

Shepard. Excellent. Now Tali... whoops, I mean, Tali, get me a danish.

Apparently Casey said we won't see Tali's face? He could just be misleading us though...

Casey says a lot. But ME:3 will have to adress the mistery on the Quarians. And if she show one they might as well show Tali. (they might get away with putting a picture in Tali's room that has a couple of faces from let's say everyone who's pilgrimage ended in Tali's period with Shepard making a command that Tali is in fact on the picture).

Also I would like to see someone putting of a Quarian mask only to see it's Gillian Grayson (human character from the books) under it

Well Legion did leave it up shephard because he didn't know what to do himself. Can he really come and whine about that later? Image IPB

Considering how many people have been more or less begging for the chance to see what Tali looks like under her helmet, I'm willing to bet this is tongue-in-cheek.  I'm not sure he or anyone else at BioWare wants to put up with the rage from the more strident Talimancers amongst us.

However, if his statement turns out to be true, I don't think I, personally, will be all that disappointed.  I'm a Tali fan all the way back to ME1 and a Talimancer first and foremost, and I'd love to know what she looks like as much as the next person, but honestly, I almost think we're better off not knowing.  So many people have presented their ideas on what she looks like, and there's been passionate debate for and against on these interpretations, and I'm fairly certain the character designers at BioWare already know her true face, and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't match any of the fan designs out there (unless they end up borrowing one of them).

I just think that we've romanticized the idea of her reveal so much that when it actually happens...IF it does...it might turn out to be a let-down.  You know damn well that we're going to have people complaining that she doesn't look right, or there should be more of this or less of that, and the arguing is going to ruin the emotional impact of the moment.

We all want to believe she is as beautiful physically as we already know she is in terms of personality and spirit.  But, maybe we're better off with the belief rather than the fact because it's far more meaningful and powerful.

That's just my $.02.

Meh I think it's a very vague declaration. It may mean that Tali's face is one of the few things still not already decided, instead of a "No. You won't see her."

We're almost 8 months from the release of the game. Probably they've got more important things to do now, than spending time with a stuff we'll see for a few seconds. I remember the GamesInformer video about Garrus where the designer said that there were several Tali's face designs in progress, but still no one approved. I think the situation is still pretty much that.

This too off course. I was just saying "Don't be alarmed before the time."

If we romanced her in ME2 we may see her face in her death scene when she dies from the infection we gave her from having sex in ME2. Otherwise I doubt we see her face at all.

Small Tali related question: If you actually show the evidence of her father's guilt during the hearing, and she thusly doesn't become loyal, is there still a conflict with Legion after you've done his loyalty mission?
