She's not that weird... :/

I don't know...the way she plays handsies with Shepard, some of the things she says...I say she's a bit wierd.  But that's not a bad thing at all; in fact, it could be seen as a good thing, as I tend to be a bit wierd too.  Some of the things Shepard says and does can make Tali chuckle too.

I don't think she's weird at all really.

Never once came across as weird to me.

Well weird is all relative lol.  But yes Tali is rather unique.  She also seems to be rather physical considering the suit.  The way she insists on "feeling your skin on mine" in ME2 points to this too.

I must say, that skin of hers...*Purrs*

I wonder if she ever has time for cosmetic features on her skin despite the suit getting in her way.  I might have to buy more than chocolates for her the next time im shopping on the citadel.

I say she's far, far more lovely than weird.  And the only weird she has is of the good type.

Tali's not weird, she's quirky. And that's an admirable trait in any person, imho.

It's because that is what she wishes for most, something she doesn't get.
She mentioned earlier that no one can understand how difficult it is to live in a suit,
unable to smell a flower or to feel a warm breeze on one's skin.

Dilandou, that poem was beautiful. Fitting perfectly.

Also, I disagree with the assertion that tali is a people pleaser. I think its more that she has a strong sense of familial duty.

And, tali was based loosely and partially off the virgin Mary, designwise. very much virginal imo

Wait wait wait, how do you know she was loosely based off the Virgin Mary? This just makes me very curious.

Indeed, might just be a coincidence though, she could likely resemble many medieval (I know the virgin Mary is not medieval though), women, mostly nobility that wore such hoods, especially if they were purple.

Ah I like Shakespeare.
What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would be just as sweet...

Sonnet 141.

And I don't believe for one second Tali's design has anything to do with the virgin mary. Since quarians are in many ways space gypsies, it's more likely her hood's design is based on that.

Yes the original look for female quarians was, but her later behaviors puts a real spin on that.  nothing in her behavior from ME2/3 really pushes the idea of virginal lol.

I thought that the artists for Tali wanted her to have qualities similar to the virign mary and make her motherly, but that's about it.  Might be on the wiki.

It's too bad there's no picture of Tali with angel wings, the picture would make her look great.

I remember reading the Macbeth play from ShakeSpare and playing as Macbeth.  Ah, the role fit me like a glove, as if there was one thing we both had in common, it's that we both were freaks.  Oh, and that we tend to plan as we go and make mistakes.  Out, out brief candle!

I read on the Mass Effect wiki that the creators were indeed going for a "Virgin Mary" motif with Tali originally. Of course, I'm sure they dropped that perspective later on in the series, judging from her behavior and comments in ME2 and 3. XD

Also, good morning.

Didn't you know the Virgin Mary was a shotgun enthusiast too?
