If Tali was in a shakespeare play, which character would she be?
You'd have to be more specific as to what play it is. DO NOT use Hamlet.

I see, I found it on the page about quarians rather than the page about Tali. I never made that connection, but then I'm not a Christian.Ralix_57 wrote...
I read on the Mass Effect wiki that the creators were indeed going for a "Virgin Mary" motif with Tali originally. Of course, I'm sure they dropped that perspective later on in the series, judging from her behavior and comments in ME2 and 3. XD
Also, good morning.

Indeed, might just be a coincidence though, she could likely resemble many medieval (I know the virgin Mary is not medieval though), women, mostly nobility that wore such hoods, especially if they were purple.
I thought that the artists for Tali wanted her to have qualities similar to the virign mary and make her motherly, but that's about it. Might be on the wiki.
It's too bad there's no picture of Tali with angel wings, the picture would make her look great.gamer_girl wrote...
Ah I like Shakespeare.
What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would be just as sweet...
I remember reading the Macbeth play from ShakeSpare and playing as Macbeth. Ah, the role fit me like a glove, as if there was one thing we both had in common, it's that we both were freaks. Oh, and that we tend to plan as we go and make mistakes. Out, out brief candle!

Dilandou, that poem was beautiful. Fitting perfectly.
Also, I disagree with the assertion that tali is a people pleaser. I think its more that she has a strong sense of familial duty.
And, tali was based loosely and partially off the virgin Mary, designwise. very much virginal imo
Wait wait wait, how do you know she was loosely based off the Virgin Mary? This just makes me very curious.
Didn't you know the Virgin Mary was a shotgun enthusiast too?

Alright, so I did some more stuff in paint.
Is there anything I should add or change?

I did not find that in any of the scriptures no.

Juliet is the obvious one? Because that's the ending that Mass Effect really needs: a double suicide...Fenrisfil wrote...

Well Juliet is the obvious one, but I actually find she reminds me a bit of Miranda in the Tempest.

Yes, none of the characters from any of Shakespeare's tragedies would fit (in point of fact, I can't think of any characters that fit at all, but anyway).lomifeh wrote...

The problem is most of the characters end up dying. Probably someone in midsummer's night dream or much ado about nothing so she doesn't die

It was in one of the optional DLCs.

Took a class on Shakespeare last semester.
I would say Tali is most like... Oh, what's her name? In The Taming of the Shrew, there's a girl that 3 guys are trying to woo. She acts all naive and innocent, if a bit coy. In the end of the play, though, you actually find out she's very sarcastic, mischievous, and independent.
Sounds a bit like Tali. Starts out all nice and innocent, ends up all "I didn't come here just to look at the fish." XD
