It's too bad there's no picture of Tali with angel wings, the picture would make her look great.

Sometimes I feel like Mordin could be compared to Polonius. He talks a lot... XD

No way, Mordin would be a Gilbert and Sullivan character all the way.  Patter songs!

No, Polonius talked a lot, but didn't know what he was talking about. Hamlet spins circles around him if you actually know what they're talking about when they banter. Mordin's too smart for that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mordin actually played Hamlet at some point. XD

Right guys, if i can distract us from Shakespeare and religion, I NEED YOUR HELP!

As some of you know, i'm writing a fanfic Tali ending. I've blocked most of the stuff, but there is one section i could use your help with.
I need to get Shep off the citadel. I have ideas, but don't know how possible they would be.
1: Normandy comes to rescue.
2:Fighter ship crashes into citadel, and shep uses it for his escape
3.Shep goes back thru the conduit.
4: Shep finds his way to the docks, and gets a small ship outta there.
The problems i have with some is i'm not sure if there are shields in the way that could goes sheps demise if anything were to go thru them.
Ideas? *Innocently looking towards the creative mancers*Ryder...Gamer__girl**
Your help is appreciated.

Normandy is always an option, as EDI may be able to pick up his position, and Joker is nuts enough to try a rescue like that.

Fighter, no.

Shep going back through the conduit could work, but it seems to be a one-way-trip sorta thing, from what I've seen.

Docks and ship escape sound good.  And, if you're feeling nice, he could pick up a few survivors along the way.  Like Bailey.  I like Bailey.

And what sort of shields do you mean?  Shields on the Citadel, or Shep's kinetic barrier?  If his armor is all tore up, he's probably lost his kinetic barrier, and will have to rely on sheer manly awesomeness to keep the bullets away.  XD  If the Citadel...  I don't recall it being shielded or anything fancy like that.

Don't know how to help you exactly because I don't know that I understand your problem.
But I'm honestly surprised you're asking me for help. I'm not very good. *blushes bashfully*.

I've been wondering.

Does Tali really have two giant toes on each foot. Cuz I'm getting afraid of seeing what Quarians actually look like (the photo is unreliable imo; it's a joke/easter egg).

Could random jungle planet be Ilos? If so the conduit angle would work well.

I was referring to citadel shields. I was just thinking that if the Normandy came to his rescue, then could there be a shield blocking it, or if something broke thru, would it remove the air and cause Shep to need a breathing mask?

OT: Funny you'd say that, in LotSB his dossier says he actually played that role... :P

Also, angel-Tali looks pretty cute...

Ilos is on the opposite side of the galaxy. The time frame of the ending doesn't really allow for the Normandy to have gotten much further than Arcturus (36ly from earth). In fact, it's likely to be closer.

EDIT: I'm top again? I seem to have a knack for it.

*sighs and walks into the bar, leaning on the counter, head hung slightly*

*raises his left hand, addressing the barflies*

Now is the season of our discontent, made glorious summer by this sun of Earth; And all the clouds that lour'd upon our house in the deep bosom of the ocean buried.

*raises both hands*

Now are our brows bound with victorious wreaths; Our bruised arms hung up for monuments; Our stern alarums chang'd to merry meetings, Our dreadful marches to delightful measures.

*points at the audience*

Grim-visag'd war hath smooth'd his wrinkled front; And now,--instead of mounting barbed steeds to fright the souls of fearful adversaries,-- I caper nimbly in a quarian's chamber to the lascivious pleasing of a lute.

*lifts up his Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition*

But I,--that am not shap'd for sportive tricks, nor made to court an amorous looking-glass; I, that am rudely stamp'd, and want love's majesty to strut before a wanton ambling nymph;

*points behind him to a barrage of green, red and blue cupcakes*

I, that am curtail'd of this fair proportion, cheated of feature by dissembling nature, deform'd, unfinish'd, sent before my time into this breathing world scarce half made up, and that so lamely and unfashionable that dogs bark at it as it is halt by them;--

*lifts the stone of Tali from Rannoch*

Why, I, in this weak piping time of peace, have no delight to pass away the time, unless to spy my shadow in the sun,

and descant on mine own deformity: And therefore,--since I cannot prove a lover, to entertain these fair well-spoken days,--

*raises fist*

I am determined to prove a villain, and hate the idle pleasures of these days. Plots have I laid, inductions dangerous,

by drunken prophecies, libels, and dreams, to set my brother Shepard and the kid in deadly hate the one against the other!

I can't see that working since the conduit is a mass relay of sorts, and given they landed on the jungle planet, the mass relays must have been destroyed.

I don't think so.  If the Citadel's arm thingies opened up, then it would be pretty much the same as it always is when you visit the Citadel.  I mean, the Normandy has always been able to dock and pick people up, so I don't see why there'd be a huge issue.

Mind you, I'm not a full expert on the mechanics and stuff of the Citadel and stellar evacuation.  XD

You ARE very good. That fanfic short is awesome! I can't really explain it well because of spoilers, but essentially, i don't know how to get shep off the citadel and it makes sense. (I figured i'd ask you guys for input, seeming as its for you guys). I don't want to get joker to save him for example, but find its impossible because shepard doesn't have his breathing equipment anymore and for the normandy to save him would be like opening an airlock...

See, i thought that, but then recalled ME1 when youre trying to reach citadel tower. When you leave the lift after it breaks down, shep wears his breather helmet, so...

Dilandou, that poem was beautiful. Fitting perfectly.

Also, I disagree with the assertion that tali is a people pleaser. I think its more that she has a strong sense of familial duty.

And, tali was based loosely and partially off the virgin Mary, designwise. very much virginal imo

Wait wait wait, how do you know she was loosely based off the Virgin Mary? This just makes me very curious.

http://t3.gstatic.co...WgL-P1s2pQ2CBpG

I can see  a resemblance

Indeed, might just be a coincidence though, she could likely resemble many medieval (I know the virgin Mary is not medieval though), women, mostly nobility that wore such hoods, especially if they were purple.

She's actually got gypsy look-alike clothing. That headscarf, and the embroidery -- it's similar to a lot of folk clothing.

The conduit is a mass relay that isn't tied to the larger network, it always seemed more of a point to point relay, so it may escape the destruction since it looks like the wave that destroyed them travelled through the network.  And the Normandy, well we don't know how far they were flung in the end.  The way the endings work it can be whatever you want they are so vauge.

Otherwise I'd say space magic!

Well what I did was picked the point where I think the ending went wrong and changed it from then on.
Mind you, my ending is still in the works and isn't yet good enough for me to happy with it.
But start with that and think what could be plausible given the universe of mass effect and your desired conclusion. All you have to do is fill in the middle bits to make it make sense.
