Point 1: The fact machines reach the same conclusion from a different method of analysis is the same as humans who approach problems from different perspectives but reach the same conclusion. So although they process information in a different way, robots still inherently "Think" to solve the problem.
Point 2: We don't fully understand how our own minds work yet. It's impossible to say if the brain is the only instrument capable of "thinking" without even fully understand our own inner workings.
Point 3: Machines are built by humans using human reasoning and understanding. Therefore, they naturally are built to respond and resolve problems by similar methods and considerations. So, to say they don't "Think" about things is foolish. Even if we already have the answer in our brains (as any program performing a task should) we still need to "Think" to recall the information and use it.
