I could never backstab Mordin! Hes too cool for school!

And i could never witness Tali kill herself.
I hated that choice. I wanted peace between the quarians and geth, and when legion mentioned the upload, there were only two choices! No persuasion! Fingers crossed, and shaking like a nervous wreck, i allowed him to upload the data. Tali tried to get through gerrel. Fail! I'm thinking NOOOOOO! and that the paragon persuade came up! YES! Then i was still a nervous wreck until the scene was over.

Heheh, I'm a Paragon but I couldn't persuade the Fleet so I chose quarians over geth to prevent Tali's suicide.

Actually it's the opposite, which is what makes it so tragic. Mordin dying to cure the genophage was extremely meaningful, both for the krogan and himself, so that was almost beautiful in a way. Tali's death is just pure desperation, loss, the result of the loss of her people, it's not a meaningful sacrifice.

Shoot Mordin in the back.
Watch his death.
How he struggles on heroic willpower (any Shepard who does this is no hero.) but ultimately fails...
Tell me they're not similar.

I agree about the no hero part, any Shepard who sabotages the cure is a pure, cold-hearted [covers mouth to stop torrent of insults]

If Wrex and Bakara/Eve are dead though, you could argue it is for the best though, since it's likely the Krogan would try to take revenge after the reaper war, under Wreavs leadership.

I actually restarted the boss fight after saying (aloud)
"There's no third option..." over and over. I was going to reload an earlier save, perhaps SHEPARD PAWNCHing Han'Gerrel vas Leeroy wasn't a good idea... but then it clicked.
Then I get my head handed to me by Reaper laz0rs due to being on an adrenaline comedown. Kinda ruined the impact of happiness and love for me. A little.

If they're both dead, as I said, Mordin can be persuaded it's for the best. War asset wise, you get the best result from that exact outcome... I think. Might be wrong.

The clue is that you can define your Shep as you want to. Shep doesn't need to be a hero. Whatever you choose is your own oppinion and what you may would do in his situation. If you are renegade its amazing to watch a quit evil person winning. You might be cold as ice and you choose to comit genocide or kill innocent civilians just because you are not trusting them. You get very similar to TIM by the way, which makes him quit sympathic. You understand his reasons and do everything neccessary to win same as him.

Funny when you think about it because a lot of fathers wouldn't approve of many of their daughters boyfriends.

It did have a slightly immature atmosphere to it, like that was the first time she's been intoxicated and she's exxagerating it a bit.

I couldn't be a renegade...in any game! I frequently mean to...
I say to myself "I'll be a SOB this time to see what happens" and then theres some sort of block that prevents me from doing it!

I suppose i'm just too nice a guy :)

So basically I have to kill them to save Mordin and take him to the Crucible Image IPB

Same, the only Renegade action I've done was when I was younger playing ME1 and my brother persuaded me to punch the reporter, I didn't know what would happen though, so I've never done a Renegade action on my own initiative.

Exactly the same here... I just can't be a ****** when I'm playing aha. Although there are always some renegade options that I choose simply because it feels right at the time.

e.g. gut punching gerrel, punching the reporter, pushing that merc out the window in ME2

I know that bit is SO funny, I love Javik's reaction to when Tali says 'You like me really'...

It's the same for me.
I always wonder what would happen if I chose the renegade option,
but even in my 2nd playthrough I just can't do it. :P

Nothing's stopping you from being the anti-hero.
Sabotaging the cure by shooting the scientist salarian in the back may be Renegade, but that doesn't mean not sabotaging the cure is necessarily Paragon.

Although honestly, they had to lump outright evil acts in the Renegade pile - you don't get a devil horns meter on your Reputation which drags down your persuasive skills, after all...
