I couldn't be a renegade...in any game! I frequently mean to...
I say to myself "I'll be a SOB this time to see what happens" and then theres some sort of block that prevents me from doing it!

I suppose i'm just too nice a guy :)

Same, the only Renegade action I've done was when I was younger playing ME1 and my brother persuaded me to punch the reporter, I didn't know what would happen though, so I've never done a Renegade action on my own initiative.

If I go RGD Tali will slap my face...."Shepard...Bad boy"

lol  :D I can actually imagine Tali saying that.

Tali: Now I won't show you my new suit access port....bad boy

This time I really will die of laughter :D

Part of me thinks "kinky Tali, lucky lucky Shep"
the other part thinks "man, sucks to be you Shepard!"

It is difficult to get in the swing of it, especially as mostly you can't be a completely terrible person. You still end up doing mostly good, you just end up a bit more angry. Then you get the odd chance to be corrupt and very rarely you can do something like kill Mordin and sudenly feel like the biggest bastard in the galaxy. I always found the Renegade/Paragon thing odd. On that system someone like Samara would probably end up more renegade due to her lack of tolerance and mercy for wrongdoers or indeed anyone getting in her way.

I suppose part of it may be the way I'm used to the morality scale of games like Fallout 3. It's hard to compare being trigger happy and a bit of a mercenary to nuking local settlements and selling children into slavery. Though I suppose both games happily let you comit genocide.

I like to play all my games as an anti-hero, which usually ends up about 50/50. ME2 frustrated me by not really letting me do that and get the good interupts. I prefer the ME3 system in that regard. Though it seems part of the change was simply due to having things like a renegade interupt to avoid being shish kebabed by Kai Leng.

Shepard: That's a straw Tali.
Tali: Emergency induction port.
Tali: And you know what else is an emergency induction port?

Strange somehow it look likes my Tali likes my badboy Shep. And she didn't punchend me in the face so far. And did you forget that otherwise she goes along with Garrus? The second most renegade hero in ME ;)

Not even gut punching the admiral that shot at you and TALI when on the dreadnaught?

That's the renegade option.

The paragon option is:

Shepard: I can think of a couple of induction ports I'd like to try out.

Third or maybe forth. Grunt was meaner than Garrus and then there was Wrex

Exactly the same here... I just can't be a ****** when I'm playing aha. Although there are always some renegade options that I choose simply because it feels right at the time.

e.g. gut punching gerrel, punching the reporter, pushing that merc out the window in ME2

The only renegade interrupts i did in ME3 was shooting Udina (he deserved it) Kai leng (deserved it) and TIM (deserved it, and i actually think its better than paragon, i like the extra dialogue)

Trying to forget. Lol. But yeah your right she clearly does like the bad boys. I think the renegade edge is another one of those things that represents what she couldn't escape during her upbringing. Perhaps it represents a little bit of her rebelling against her Father.

I think it's less the bad boys than it is people who are prone to action. Shepard, and Garrus starting in ME2, are prone to actually do something about a situation. They aren't going to let politics or whatever get in the way of accomplishing something.

This is as opposed to her fleet and her father whose politics we've already experienced. They are structured, ordered, and very rarely seem to get much done (at least during our brief glimpse) except at a ship level where the captain is in charge.

So had Grunt been onboard during ME3....

I don't even want to think of that. How could you compete with that size anyway!

On a more serious note. I did think Garrus became more paragon in ME3. My Shepard did too, so it worked well for my playthrough as he always seemed to mirror my development. But it also made sense. It's hard to stick to "whatever the cost" when the cost starts to become billions of innocent lives.

She adapts to RNG or PGN, but in my point of view she is mostly a PGN quarian, even when she hate Miranda, she felt hurt by Miranda's death. Trying to forget the pain inducting some alcoholic drinks ( not the good way), she is really kind, that's why we all love her.

I think she got a little excited every time I rang up the council just to cut them off.

Seriously though, I think your right. She is a good person, but she appreciates people that get stuff done rather then standing around discussing it endlessly. People that put their necks on the line for what they believe.

I believe that was handled in the critically panned satirical film "Flotilla Headbutt" of a group of young quarian females who crash land on Tuchanka while moving through the system. By the time the flortilla comes to rescue them, a local Krogan clan leader just laughs at their request for information.

Krogan: "You quarians are so squishy and fragile but it was fun! For me anyway. Heh heh heh."

Krogans are far to primitive, ok Wrex is a good leader and interesting Character, but you can't call him renegade. It is nature not his Character. He doesn't really have  the sort of choice as the other main Chars in ME. He is not developing his Character as well. Think about Liara or Garrus.
Garrus is very similar to renegade Shep. They share most of their interests, have feelings for the same woman and are both basicly loyal to the law and even clean up with criminals the same way. The joke"Garrus the Dark Knight" doesn't come out of nowhere.
