As I say ^^ it is my personal oppinion. I thought me and Udina could control the next Council, but sadly We never got any feedback what could have happend. It could have giant effects, but of course I know that even with modern technology we can't work out a perfect game.
The fact that we got the possebilities to do these choices the great enough. =)

Same here, I know this is not about Tali but at the end the old council was blind because Saren was their "lovely" Spectre, until the end Shepard fougth against that privilege. Council never accepted human race inside their lines. Maybe it wasn't the best choice to killed them, but why I need to care about three guys who doesn't like my people, who fought against me even when they knew their spectre was a traitor, thats why I choose to save my people and at that point for my every soldier in those ships counts.
I didn't trust Udina, thats why I put Anderson in charge, maybe he doesn't have the diplomat experience to deal with the new council but is someone I can trust.

Yeah but this should never be the question. The real one is who "could" be in Tali´s league?

Well, it's simple. The only decision that mattered was whether or not you romanced Tali in ME2. If you did then you got the best ending.

No. I did it, though not deliberately as I didn't know Tali was a potential LI in ME2 at that stage. For all my anti-hero actions, I actually did feel bad for Liaria, with me having to dump her. After all, she did save me from having my body delivered to the collectors, I owe her a great deal. I didn't like upsetting her. But then there was no way I was going to not be with Tali.

Second playthrough I was unnecisarily harsh, but that was largely influenced by post ending rage (My Shepard was kind of bitter and angry for the whole of that play through, well except when Tali was involved, hard to be bitter or angry around her).

If I was to play all 3 games again (and if they fix the ending I probably will), I will stay out of all romances in ME1. Either that or romance Ash and then let her die (for dramatic effect, not to be jerk).

Well, shoot me now. The last couple days, I've been going on YouTube and trolling Liara fans. Childish? Yes. Why Did I do it? I don't know. I think it's because I've gotten so sick of seeing her shoved down our throats by this series. Plus, every time someone makes a "I want blue children!" comment, I'm pretty sure a puppy dies.

It's just frustrating because it seems like anyone who DIDN'T romance Liara in this series got screwed in some form.  poor Tali gets a scene that's just a minute long.  Of course, who chose Thane or Jacob had it 10x worse.

I always liked her. What made me decide to romance her was a guilt trip really, that and I was dissatisfied with Miranda. Just the way Tali said her feelings to Shepard, I would have died of guilt if I turned her down. She was just so shy and scared, it would have killed me to say "Tali, that's sweet, but I think we should just be friends." Then after I started the romance I realized that it was way better than the Miranda one anyways so I stuck with it.

I understand the frustration. If there was canon, I think we all know who the LI would be. I don't think I would hold it against Liaramancers though, or the character herself. It's BW that forced her down your throat. Let them have their blue babies, I'll take Tali and me and her will make ourselves a Geth baby. Far cuter and none of that messy nappy changing either.
