I gave that honor to Ash, won't waste my ammo in that traitor
Interesting logic. Killing someone is a traumatic experience, so you'd rather pass it down to one of your subordinates to save yourself the trouble of expending bullets?
Ammo is never a waste if it reaches it's desired target.

When Ash started to doubt me again, it wasn't the time to be Jean-Luc Picard paragon. I was sick and tired of her doubting me as a soldier, so I intimiated her ass and made her stand down as I popped Udina. Frankly, I wish I could have popped her too for romancing me in Mass Effect 1, but...that's going a bit too far. Plus, the reapers and all. And Tali might not like it if I shot her 'sister' in the head with no good reason.

Tali lacks the cute accent, but she is good.
And then I switched to english for 2, and was disappointed by Liara's dub, monotone indeed. While Tali went from cute to cuteness made flesh.
Her voice is definately imperfect, and in Mass Effect 1, there's some crazy bug where you can sometimes hear her without her mask getting in the way. But its cute, and I believe its her imperfections that make her perfect to us.

Huh. I'll have to turn on the French voice acting later, then. I'm now curious to hear French Garrus.
Speaking of French, test in 20 minutes. Why am I here?!
Regarding ME1 love interests, I played ME2 on the PS3. During the interactive comic, when given the option of Liara or Ashley, I chose neither. I decided my Shep wasn't interested in either, and he probably had some feelings for Tali, but the universe conspired against them... *melodrama*
And then, funny enough, I had the option to actually confirm that when talking to Kelly. Apparently, my Shep really did want to be more than just friends with Tali before ME2... XD

Ash is a blind alliance bootlicker and Tali is a cute *cosita*.

My intention was to bring some thought to the matter. In actuality that situation involved someone pulling a gun and pointing it at an unarmed civilian, so the right trigger is my first reaction in that instance. Tali related, if there was some sort of paragon interrupt to stop Tali from jabbing her knife into Legion (assuming Shep wasn't getting choked to death) I don't think I'd take it. I mean, come on, Tali/knife... Awesome!!

Wait, they finally show Tali using her knife? Coolness.
To bad I'll never see it myself. XD

Yeah, but you don't really get a good angle of her wielding it. However, its a damn powerful knife, it can slice through a Geth's armor and do incredable damage to their vital parts. Now I know why Tali carries that knife with her in bed...but its not the main reason why I get her consent before I do anything with/to her.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought she sounded like a robot. I thought Liara's VA was pretty decent in ME1, but in the second two she took a real nosedive. She did the unthinkable: she became even more monotone than Shepard.WizenSlinky0 wrote...
I don't really have a problem with Liara. She just wasn't as interesting as Tali. And her voice carries a certain level of apathy that I find unfortunate.
Meanwhile, I thought Stroka did a wonderful job with Tali. Which may be one of the things that attracted me to her character in the first place. She conveys so much emotion without one ever seeig her facial expressions, it's hard not to give her praise!
I'd caution against placing the blame on her voice actor because I kind of got the feeling it was part of her character even way back in ME1. She's a very closed off and contained person which is why she probably enjoyed her job so much. She just doesn't emote or really react emotionally to any situation. I've seen only a few scenes across all three games where she emotes to a non-romanced Shepard. And not too many more for a romanced one either.
She's just "Closed" as compared to the other extreme of Tali's "Open". Tali is an extremely emotive personality who's feelings are fairly clear to read at a given time. She expresses herself completely and openly. Not everyone likes people who did that. But I prefer total and complete honesty in all things, so I appreciated that level of her personality.

Indeed. I couldn't remember the exact wording so I scrapped a reference to that line.
