Is that what happens if you cheat on her?
Besides, I don't have Lair of the Shadow Broker.

That would definately define 'serious consequences for cheating'.

But no.  Doesn't.  It gets catty at best.

She get's over it pretty quickly really and compared to how Miranda deals with getting dumped (i.e. get's herself killed) there's hardly any consequences. One auto-conversation in Liara quarters where she says "Just be with whoever you want to be with and stop playing games because neither of us have time for it" (or something like that) and another if you choose to take Liara on the dreadnaught date (she confronts you both at the start but basically says she hopes you'll be happy together). After that you get the same friendly dialogue for her project, the balcony chat and her goodbye memory share (Seems it was a memory of her watching 2001 a space odessey. Strange thing to share).

Ha, I know. When Liara was going to share her memories I thought I'd see vivid and fond images of her and Benezia before she turned to Saren, her becoming an archeologist, being saved by Shepard, maybe even some of their romance if she was your ME1 LI, but nope. Rather dissapointing.

Eh, Liara doesn't really seem the type for that.

No, she doesn't. But like I said she's a very "Closed" personality. Her little flare up over the intercomm in ME2 surprised the hell out of me. She's capable of much more than I gave her credit for once already. Wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.

But power is addictive. It can cause even the nicest person to lose touch and start defining things in terms of their power to change them.

Either way, it was a Joke, and I found it funny! :P

This is true, but I think she's more the person who's gruesome out of practical necessity, not cruelty. I think she'd be too compassionate towards Shepard and Tali to do something like that.

Whilst she was hell bent on destroying the shadow broker, I think that was because she found him deserving of it.

Well, that's the point. She's already willing to "bend" regardless of the reasons. And as her power expands and grows it's not a stretch to believe she could more easily "justify" her actions as they get increasingly cruel.

Hypothetically. So while I think the potential for that kind of character is there I don't believe it's something that will become reality.

I didn't. I was elaborating for the other guy.

But I can call you girlbro if you'd like.

Yo, girlbro, FISTBUMP! BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE. HOW 'BOUT DAT TALI!?

Me too.
My Shepard's love formula is Love = Tali :P

Ha, well love should be a function of time in theory. Love can grow or shrink.

So at the very least it'd be Love(t) = Tali * t

t = 100,000,000
Tali = Infinity

Don't cheat on Liara, poor gal.

Cheat on Ash. She deserves it. She never believes you! At least Liara saves you, and trusts you, but says shes busy, which is fair enough.

That's totally me. Someone took a picture of me. I was looking at Wolverine, hence the drool.

20+ pages late, but I have to say it. If you looked anything like that, I would hunt you down and romance you so hard that thousands of year in the future, an alien civilization will detect it as a massive electromagnetic and gravatic event.

Strangely, Ashley seemed to take it cool.  I wonder what she would do if they decided to ramp up the consequences for cheating on her...maybe get into a physical fight with Tali and tear a piece of her suit off?  Or hit her in the face with the stock of a Avenger?  Either way, id throw Ash out the airlock if she dared try...

I think everybody understands why you would fall for Tali.  She's sweet and lovable, and she's had a thing for Shep since the beginning.  It's kinda hard to get pissed at her for that.  Now, on the other hand, I hear Ash gets pretty mad if you cheat on her with Miranda.

Not to be "that guy" but...no one ever "deserves" that. She has trust issues. You find those a dealbreaker, fair.

But no one ever deserves to get cheated on.

Though, technically you never cheat on anybody except Liara in ME2. Ashley/Kaiden makes it pretty clear you're different people and things aren't the same anymore.

Liara at least greets you with some affection and a kiss.

It was a bit disapointing and a little confusting. Still, 2001 was a really good movie. Maybe Liara thought it was a historical documentary.

She has a point, I think Miranda should buy some armour.

Huh.  Wasn't there a bit hooplah a few days ago over the lmpossibility of there being two girls in this thread?  Kinda ironic...

Anyway, done with French test, got a few hours to kill before Journalism.  Might hop on ME3 and play some multiplayer.  Anybody else on PS3?  My Krogan Sentinel and Quarian Infiltrator need friends...  :crying:

There are, by my calculations, exactly 11.37 girls in this thread. I feel bad for the girl who is only .37 though.

2001 was an excellent movie, maybe Liara was as obsessed with at as with Shepard... or Thessia has some interesting fungi species and Liara was sharing her student years.

I always suspected there was more then one girl. There is a reasonable % of female gamers, slightly higher for RPGs and as far as romance and character interest go I'd think someone like Tali is probably more appealing to girls then the various overly sexualised alternatives. Over here they just have to deal with the excessive interest in Tali's hips and bum.

So yeah, I always assumed there was more then one.

Well, since the whole ending goes by faster than the rest of the game, I'm guessing Bioware simply didn't have the time to put actually memories in there.

Hmm...my case is a bit different.  Would it be considered 'cheating' if a woman begins to romance you and even though you don't want any part of it, she still does, and there's no way to bail out?  Some say yes, but I totally say no.  That's what happened with my Shepard in Mass Effect 1; Ashley started hitting on him even though I didn't want to be part of her, and there was no option to reject her, save for turning her down during romance night.

Which scene?

My girlfriend is quite fond of Tali. However, I think her favorite female is Ashley. I know she was quite irked to find out that Ashley wasn't bi like Kaiden in ME3. XD

I think you nailed it. I'm only surprised the memory didn't turn out to be The Wizard of Oz synchronized with The Dark Side of the Moon.

The asari don't have the Wizard of Oz.

They have "The Huntress of Os"

There was a lot of :ph34r:ninjamancing:ph34r: going on in ME1.
