Hmm...my case is a bit different.  Would it be considered 'cheating' if a woman begins to romance you and even though you don't want any part of it, she still does, and there's no way to bail out?  Some say yes, but I totally say no.  That's what happened with my Shepard in Mass Effect 1; Ashley started hitting on him even though I didn't want to be part of her, and there was no option to reject her, save for turning her down during romance night.

If you don't talk to her after one main mission then she won't hit on you.

I romanced Ashley once, and when ME2 came out and I found out about Tali, I instantly decided to set aside another file exclusively for Tali.

Then I never touched the other saves again. Ever. Since then my hard drive with Ashley has ceased to live, but doesn't matter now.

I think you nailed it. I'm only surprised the memory didn't turn out to be The Wizard of Oz synchronized with The Dark Side of the Moon.

Think, due to the long lifespan of Asari, not to mention their advanced culture, it's likely their educations take decades, she could have been a student for 20-30 years. So just imagine after the memory-melding.

I did exactly the same thing.

Just tell Ash she's out of line when she mentions aliens onboard the ship, and tell Liara to back off your manhood when she starts showing interest in you. Done.

Whilst we're on the subject of fidelity, just thought of something slightly weird for liaramancers. The easter egg thing on Ilium, when you drink the mystery drink. Youre sloshed, you speak to Aethyta. Not only does she now have make up on, i believe she says this line
"Sorry, no sex. Just cleaned the bar"

Think i'll stay by Tali's side...ALWAYS!

Yeah, I don't think any of my Shepard's could cheat.  Even if I go the bloodthirsty psychopath route, that's just a whole level of wrongness I could never do.

Evidently, all the Williams' seem to have some sort of stigma that follows their military careers. Ash's grandfather surrenders entire planets to aliens, while Ash herself enjoys boning her commanding officers since fraternization is awwwwwriiiiiight apparently....

I realize I'm one of the few who liked Ashley in ME1. No, I don't think she was truly racist, just paranoid. However, her reaction in ME2 really rubbed me the wrong way. An when I found out about Tali being romanceable, well, I didn't look back.

And in ME3, I just got sick of hearing Ashley's trust issues through the whole freaking game. Didn't need much convincing to stay with Tali.

Eh, I think they are all mostly rounded. When your affection for a person/character reaches a certain level you begin to overlook the flaws more than you would otherwise. Where as the other characters who you might like less are hammered even harder because you can pick out their flaws better.

To be fair to Ashley, her ME2 and ME3 role is shared almost exactly by Kaiden. That compromised both of their development somewhat. I understand why they did it like that, but it could have been done better.
