Unsatisfied with the Tali romance, I wrote... something. Not quite the end of the ending, but it's a start. I warn you, most of it is dialog, and quite sappy. I'm the sentimental type. Created a DeviantArt account just to share this.

Nah, I say let the quarians have the spoils as well.  Can't leave them out.

Oh wow. My state is trying to pass an anti trolling law. But it's so broad that if I were to accidentally offend another 'mancer simply because I Talimanced, I could be fined and get 6 months in jail. Yeah screw AZ.

It's an anti-Tali state. :(

I call civil war!

Though being British, that may count as an invasion.

Seeming as the US used to be part of the british empire, i call it reclaimingImage IPB

Anyway, us talimancers can do it. Take over Arizonas government, succeed in splitting away from the US and renaming it:
Tali land...or
Quariona...or
Little Rannoch.

We're not your colonies anymore... though if it weren't for the cost of living and petrol I'd seriously consider expatriating to the old country after all I see going on lately on this side of the pond.

Petrols expensive over here as well. Cost of living not great as well. Might be worth staying there.Image IPB

I think it's good that they didn't have her stammer at that line. Her confidence has increased immensely since the first game, notwithstanding the fact that she's a reluctant leader of her people (a MASSIVE leap in responsibility she honestly is nowhere near ready for). Other than that, she's grown as a character, and that's quite positive. She wasn't sure about her relationship with Shepard in ME2, but she's solidified it in ME3. That's not possessiveness, that's confidence and stability.

I'm not sure I completely agree with this. Many leaders often have self doubts. But I agree that she probably wasn't completely ready for the Jump in responsiblity and position.. The only time we ever really see her get super nervous stammery is... really when she's interacting with someone who she admires/likes and isn't sure where she stands with them.. Most notably when she's young and new to the crew and Shepard.. and then  interacting with Shepard as she sort of stumbles her way into telling him how she feels.

MOST leaders especially in situations where there is War or great conflict often have bouts of self confidence issues, and wondering if they're the right person to be making these decisions... I doubt they'd be as effective, or good if they didn't have those.. Those are the moments that make them step back and really examine if how they're doing something is the best way to do it.. granted too /much/ self doubt becomes an issue.. But from what I've seen of Tali.. While she does have self doubts.. she tends to stick to her guns and stand behind what she believes. Even though she may have not been totally ready for the position.. I think she's more ready than you're giving her credit for, honestly. But, even with that.. most of the reason she got the position is because her father was an Admiral, and she's an expert on the geth and (presumably) as close to an expert the Quarians (as Garrus is for the Turians, and Shepard for the humans) have on the Reapers.

You should never name something, ever. EVER.

Tali land sounds like a theme park

Quariona sounds like something out of a bad fantasy novel

Little Rannoch sounds like the Quarian part of a small city.

Call it NEW Rannoch.

Yeah, not very good at naming things. Always said if i had a kid with a big nose i'd name it Pinnochio.

Let's name it Tali World.
Good for the little ones.

Geth.

No no, I meant the cost of living&petrol in GB is what's keeping me from emigrating to England!

Besides, everyone is crazy there, driving on the wrong side of the road.

According to some random survey thing I saw recently the USA has a much higher "Happiness rating" then the UK. But you know, the grass is always greener and all that.

It's a good concept, but could use more... feel. you know? A bit of editing, and it'll be really nice. It's best to just get your concept out before all that though.
Good job :)

It also rains less here.

Would Rannoch have a higher happiness rating because of the heat? hmmm

Holy crap, EA has no low. There is nowhere they will not go it seems. I think reflecting on the ending for ME3 would help them realize why they're in this position, and to get snide and take shots at others is actually pretty childish.

I think it's time we, the people started breaking up these "superpowers" in the markets and give them a reality check.

Well, that, and there's a lack of exposition, so it's hard to visualize the place. But just do what comes naturally for now, the concept is what is important; writing visually is like that, it'll come and go and come and go and come and go... =-= writing and I have never had the best relationship either, but it gets better.

This sort of goes along with that. It hopefully will be inspiring for you.
