According to some random survey thing I saw recently the USA has a much higher "Happiness rating" then the UK. But you know, the grass is always greener and all that.

That's because we have a growing quotient of dumb people. Ignorance is bliss.

It also rains less here.

Would Rannoch have a higher happiness rating because of the heat? hmmm

I like rain. That being said, I wouldn't mind living on Rannoch, a giant desert with NO BUGS.

Unsatisfied with the Tali romance, I wrote... something. Not quite the end of the ending, but it's a start. I warn you, most of it is dialog, and quite sappy. I'm the sentimental type. Created a DeviantArt account just to share this.

It's a good concept, but could use more... feel. you know? A bit of editing, and it'll be really nice. It's best to just get your concept out before all that though.
Good job :)

I... think I know what you mean.  Never been very good at expressing myself.

Its a good start

I think it's more because I never change my socks and it takes that very personally.

Well, maybe if you had more holes in your socks it'd feel more confident.

Agreed, that wrex.shepard part was very well done. I could see it happening and they all stayed very true to their characters.
Also, the Liara part seems kind of random and could be expanded more, so that it would flow better.
But if this advice is discouraging, disregard it. You did do good.

I love the way tali and shepard rely on each other for support in ME3.

Nah, I'd just be more holy. And that would only be cause for more bitterness.

My medi-gel looks like a knife and is only good for cutting things.

Well,
that, and there's a lack of exposition, so it's hard to visualize the
place. But just do what comes naturally for now, the concept is what is
important; writing visually is like that, it'll come and go and come
and go and come and go... =-= writing and I have never had the best
relationship either, but it gets better.

I see.  That appears to be my biggest obstacle.  I picture a scene in my head like a movie, and the hard part is putting it into words.  That, and trying to my way up to the scene.  But, like you said, my biggest priority this time was just getting my main ideas out there.

And by the way guys, I'm more of a snow lover, myself.  I probably wouldn't like living on Rannoch, but I'd be willing to make that sacrifice for Tali.

Or it could mean your personality is full of holes!

Little holes, big holes, fun holes.

Rannoch's description said it had no insect-like lifeforms, if I remember correctly. Tali's fear of spiders doesn't necessarily mean she grew up with them on Rannoch (because she didn't, at all), but it IS something completely foreign, alien, and absolutely creepy for her. I think there was also a line (cut dialogue, maybe?) where Tali explains to Shepard that she once had a nightmare about a male Quarian removing his mask and spiders started pouring out. There's also an interesting comic someone made of the same thing happening to Tali.

They're two pieces of the puzzle that fit perfectly.

Tali loves Shepard
Shepard loves Tali
It's a love where, with no hesitation, they would give up their lives for the sake of the other.
True love
better than twilight.

I never got that dialogue anywhere, I didn't even know Tali had a fear of spiders till I started following this thread.
