I really need some sleep. Last day of work before the break, but my teampartner already on holidays, and me working the early shift...
I present again the ending of Mass Effect 3, as written by several authors in the 16th century.
Shepard (under the rubble): O, I have pass'd a miserable night, so full of ugly sights, of ghastly dreams. With a piece of crucible I was told that God bids us do good for evil. And thus I clothe my naked villainy with old off ends, stol'n forth of holy writ; And seem a saint, when most I play the devil. I hate my name, because my name is your enemy. I have a soul of lead so stakes me to the ground I cannot move. I am too sore enpiercèd with his shaft. And so bound, I cannot bound a pitch above dull woe. Under love's heavy burden do I sink.
Tali: O Shepard, Shepard! Wherefore art thou Shepard? Deny thy death and refuse thy fate; Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, and I'll no longer be a Quarian.
Shepard: But that a joy past joy calls out on me, it were a relief so brief to part with thee.
Tali (finds him): O judgement! Thou art fled to brutish beasts, and men have lost their reason...bear with me! My heart is in the coffin there with you, and I must pause till you come back to me.

Shepard: Tali, I did not think to shed a tear in all my miseries; But they have forced me, out of my honest truth, to play the fool. So dry thy eyes: And thus far hear me, Tali; And, when I am forgotten, as I shall be, and sleep in dull cold marble, where no mention of me more must be heard of, say, I taught thee, say, Shepard, that once trod the ways of glory, and sounded all the depths and shoals of honour, found thee a way, out of his wreck, to rise in; A sure and safe one, though thy lover miss'd it. Mark but my fall, and that that ruin'd me.
Tali: What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet; So Shepard would, were he not Shepard call'd, retain that dear perfection which he owes without that title. Shepard, doff thy name, and for that name which is no part of thee, take all myself.
Shepard: I take thee at thy word: Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized; Henceforth I never will be Shepard.
Tali: Be not amazed; Right noble is your blood. If this be so, as yet the glass seems true, I shall have share in this most happy wreck.
Shepard: A heaven on earth I have won by wooing thee. If nothing lets to make us happy both but this my broken usurp'd attire, do not embrace me till each circumstance of place, time, fortune, do cohere and jump that I am yours. I was preserved to serve this noble woman. All the occurrence of my fortune since hath been between this lady and myself.
Tali: Doubtless with joy I will embrace you, for thou art honourable, and, doubling that, most holy. Your means abroad, you have me, rich.
Shepard: Here come the Reapers. I would not for the world they saw thee here.
Tali: I have night's cloak to hide me from their sight; And but thou love me,let them find me here:My life were better ended by their hate, than death prorogued, wanting of thy love.
Garrus (leading search party): A most high miracle! Though death threatens, he is merciful; I have cursed them without cause.
Shepard: Sir, by your patience, I hold you not a subject of this war, but as a brother.
Tali: I humbly thank you, sir. Now lead us like a firebrand in the dark on our way.
Shepard: I would give all my fame for a pot of ale, and safety.
Garrus: O, wonder! How many goodly creatures are there here! How beauteous lovers are! O brave new world, that has such people in it!
(Shepard is carried off on stretcher with Tali and Garrus by his side)
Admiral Hackett: The Shepard's a lover, now the game is done: All is well ended, if this suit be won, that you express content; Which we will pay, with strife to please you, day exceeding day: Ours be your patience then, and yours our parts; Your gentle hands lend us, and take our hearts.
