That doesn't quite strike me as hipster. Though maybe its hipster in that its trying not to be hipster. So its a hipster being a hipster by not being a hispspt- *head explodes*
Anyway, I'm probably gonna be heading to bed shortly. Night folks.
*OH HO*
I see what you did there.

How much of Tali's kindness is due to her upbringing, and how much is due to her choices/true self?
The
environment anyone grows up in helps shape who we are and our beliefs,
but ultimately the choices we make are individual. So maybe the large
sense of community and togetherness helped her found those kind and
caring qualities, but it's her choice to act on them.
As we can see
with the heavy fleet captain graal (or whatever his name is), there can
be some real Quarian jerks out there.
That's
a great point. But Tali, in ME1 especially, consistantly points to the
Fleet as the reason why she is how she is. To clarify my statement; how
much of herself did she discover there, and how much of her changed upon
seeing the outside world during her pilgrimage? (Please do SPECULATE
>)
I'd wager that she changed A LOT during her pilgrimage. I haven't played through ME1 in a while but I faintly remember her talking about discovering so many things she had no idea about that were amazing, showing how much to life there is outside of the Flotilla. Best quarian ever.
