Omni-tools contain micro-fabrication units. They are responsible for creating "tech mines" for powers like overload, sabotage and incinerate. They also create the combat drone.

For heavy melee attacks, the omni-tool generates a super-sharp, nearly transparent blade which is surrounded by a holographic field so the user can see it (and doesn't cut his fingers off).
