Ahem, why? They're not human so they don't have human biochemistry so they could be any color... They don't even share the same chemistry at the genetic level so to assume that they need to be light skinned due to lack of sun exposure is just... absurd.

Secondly individual wires are not what need to be hardened but the microprocessors that control them, those are all housed internally and protected. The only geth we've seen with that part exposed is... Legion.

tali's expressed deep seeded hatred towards the geth. i think it stems from her culture. and how when asked, she talks about how her people will never forgive the geth, to emphasize that she is part of the majority and the majority is what she tunes in with.

Oh Keelah..are you saying you want to see a geth naked? for science?

Given that the technology of 'electronics' in the MEverse seems to be based more in photonics in terms of data storage and transfer than actual electron exchange, an EMP would have greatly reduced effectiveness, causing damage by arching across whatever metal bits were close enough and had a large enough voltage differential.

The lynchpin to Quarian hatred of the geth is Rannoch and their current circumstances due to living on the fleet for the last 300 years. If offered the homeworld back without conflict much of the imputes for the hatred would disappear, at least over time. Considering current Quarian circumstances the offer of Rannoch would turn many minds. A chance to disband the fleet, live on the homeworld, and the end to all the restrictions that are brought on by fleet life would make most leap at the chance. If it could be proven to be real.

lol!  Wow, well... there is that huge hole in Legion's armor showing the skeleton and electronics inside.

zomg, why did i have al-jilani's voice as the interviewer? there was a clear lack of snide insinuations in that fanfic.

I hate myself for thinking this but now I suddenly have the idea of Legion being a geth exibitionist...

Why won't this thought go away?

Whyyyyy?

It's Popular Mechanics... and that's what they printed, not specifically what was said. If you read close you notice there have obviously been a few tweaks for political correctness. Like removing "Reaper" from the talk of Sovereign.

I have a idea to back up my emp argument.  Emp's destroy electronics because of a electronic surge right? Well( I have to go back and look at the overload ability description again) overload doe's kinda the same thing( If i remember correctly) . It fry's the geth creating a power surge within.

i was wondering that actually. tali KNOWS that sovereign was a reaper. i thought it was writer error but no. it was poly-ticking.

fun fact: Politic.
Poli-tic.
Poly=many
tic=bloodsucking insect
politics = many bloodsucking insects.

Not exactly paudson... DEMP can be shielded against with stuff as primitive as certain ceramics and plastics... what you're talking about is more akin to sticking a power line into a geth.

You know we are talking about the 22nd century. buy then emp blast's are out dated tech. The geth may have became relaxed to such attacks happening.

Yes... lets argue for EMP blasts as being effective against geth by referencing a lightning gun...

I hate knowing this much about science.

An addition to that thought is that the Geth may not have enough metal components to really be affected by EMP's previously mentioned voltage differentials. It's late here so I may not be making all the sense I might normally. Lightning gun creates a massive amount of voltage which really is just bad juju for anything that can conduct electricity. Technically, that thing should be more effective against organics given the amperage that would be generated by traveling through the air and overcoming it's impedence.

Also, since I'm quoting you, Mr. Magic, I believe I owe you an apology for not looking at your writing. Now, don't take this the wrong way but I just can't read fan fics. It just messes with my head cannon when I do so. I don't look down on the act itself as I see it as just another way that fans can use to 'get inside' the heads of various characters which can lead to better understanding of motives and so on which can then lead to better appreciation based on said understanding... And I think I'm rambling here. I hope you understand what I'm getting at.

Anyway, if you have any other writings laying around, might it be possible to send them my way as it seems from the reactions of the other posters here that you are quite talented and I am interested in checking that out.

Now then, to bring it around back on topic, who here would be interested in a ramble about how Quarian 'suited life' could affect their culture and psychology down the line whenever I wake up?
