So your theory is that femshep and maleshep both exist within the fiction of this picture? And why does liara have 2 kids? And why the hell does javik have one of them as a sleepy hat? And if that quarian kid is tali's, who is the father? And why would maleshep exist with tali groping femshep all over? Still confused.Cheese of Borg wrote...

Exelsis seems to think that science can do no wrong. I'm not raging because of you or fenrisfil I'm raging because of them.
I see. We should probably just let it go...
So about that Tali???
I'm going to miss you when you go back to your own people, Tali.
That won't happen for a while yet. I'll be right here any time you need me.
Emphasis mine. I love how this seems to have become Tali's phrase of affection for Shepard in the series. Playing ME1, I never realized how much implication that conversation would have.

Well...sure. I see why not.
I have to admit, I watched some videos online about some of the crew reactions to whether you killed off either the geth or the quarians or preserved peace. Obviously, peace was the best option. I found it interesting how EDI mourned the loss of the geth race, which is understandable for a AI given that they themselves are synthetic. But the ending where the quarians are destroyed...wow...it hits EVERYONE hard. EDI, Joker, Garrus...they all had a hard time getting over it. I'm glad I managed to preserve both races, as there's no doubt in my mind that they need each other. It pisses me off about the stupid things the quarians do sometimes, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was because of their unique kindness they possess; but for all the pain I go through to save the quarian and geth race, it's worth it. Especially for Tali.

Quarians, I would assume, probably celebrate people rather than seasons as us farming humans do. So I'd guess they'd have days set out for more famous people.forthary wrote...
Well Tali's people did have a religion, so they probably had religious holidays. I doubt they celebrate their retreat from Rannoch, and not really much else to celebrate on the fleet. Most cultures have equinox celebrations, so I expect they had similar things and while away from their planet it may have seemed even more important to acknowledge what the seasons would have been.
Given that Rannoch is hot, perhaps their winter festival would be the bigger one. Which pretty much means Christmas and really, who doesn't like getting presents?
Then again, hard to find gifts onboard the fleet. I wonder if they have a Halloween where they all dress up as spiders.
ANd gift-wise, in Ascension, It is said that if a quarian were to have more, it would mean others had less, so everything they owned, they would not truly own, it was more borrowed and shared among others. No one had anything they actually kept to themselves, so the point of gifts would be rather meaningless.
This quarian lack of ownership would explain Tali's possessiveness towards Shepard. Once you finall get that sense of ownership... you wont let it go for anything:innocent:
I am sure the Quarians were farmers once though and those harvest holidays do have a habbit of sticking. What I was thinking was when your stuck in space, with no way of telling one day from the next, those seasonal holidays may seem more important as a way of holding the year together and reminding everyone about the dream of returning to the homeworld. I'm trying to imagine how humanity would do it were they to be forced off of earth and into a fleet. What would they really cling on to? I would think anything that celebrates their homeworld when it is at it's most beautiful would seem worthwhile.
But your right about the gifts. I haven't read ascension, but that makes sense. Good point about Tali's possessiveness too. Whatever they did to celebrate holidays, birthdays and perhaps the anniversary of each Quarians returned from pilgrimage it probably didn't involve gifts. I guess it would involve lots of dancing as that seems popular amongst quarians and they certainly have the physiology for it!

It's all Liara's fault as well we didn't hook up sooner. She admits that she had a vested interest in not adding any competition so kept quite. Grrr.

Some may say the lack of a romantic relationship is a weakness in one...but I say its a unique thing that has no strength or weakness. It just is. I believe waiting plays a important part in a relationship, and I thought Bioware learned that lesson...until Mass Effect 2 and 3, when I realized that kissing Tali had no interesting consequences in 3, and that not kissing her didn't make a darn difference, as the game treated the situation as if you did. I realize this may sound awkward, but the first time I saw Tali confront me in the captain's cabin, I thought she was acting too fast in this case, especially while taking her immo-boosting suppliments.
I declined because I thought there would be a better way to have physical encounters with Tali, plus since the key decisions you made in 1 + 2 would come about in 3, I thought that not kissing Tali would have some sort of reaction in 3. *Sigh* Oh well. The whole thing makes my head explode. Nobody cares about waiting in a relationship anymore, and I guess that's why divorces are sky-high around the world.
Anyways...

Probably because nobody can view my page. It's mostly to save people time and to not bother with pointless friend requests; I know the locals on this fourm enough that I don't need a friends list. If I have a question that's really digging into my mind, I'll know who to shoot PM's to and such. Plus, I don't draw fanart or write interactive stories on my profile; if I did, I probably would use a external source for such activities.

They go back even further. Late 1800's saw the first versions. And by early 1900s they were in use. The CRT is a form of that too so they've been in common use until recently.
I doubt such tech even exists except as a history book entry in ME3.

It's totally understandable in a romantic situation regardless of who or what you are. But I guess for Tali, it has deeper meaning, as their are few things she feels are truly hers. Though then again, it does make me wonder if Shepard is Tali's or vice versa. Be interesting to see them get into a fun argument over who belongs to who...
I rarely get gifts that have a special meaning, and if I had some quarian friends, they may be more likely to give me a gift that meant something.
That is a good explanation of how posesive she is...
Oh my god she is so sweet:wub:

Best squadmates. Too bad legion isn't one in ME3.
Well, at least if we decided to rebuild legion, it wouldn't be too hard; all we need to do is retrieve his body, search for his last auto-save, and download the information on that auto-save into his neural capacitors. That should be able to revive him and allow him to continue on. I hope he auto-saved before he sacrificed himself, as it would allow us to explore his character a bit more. Maybe just to make things easier on the developers, they could give him a computer-generated language instead of his previous one because the information was not included in the auto-save, or if its a different body, the hardware is different.

I'd say it goes both ways but yeah Tali is probably much more vocal about it. When you spend your life in a suit you become more obvious in your emotions and thoughts because you have to be. This is Tali's first love, the firts person she was would link her suit to, the first person she let see her under that helmet. She has really given herself totally to Shep and in giving herself up she basically claimed ownership from her perspective.
I can see Tali being the jealous type too. Hell her catiness towards Ash on the dreadnaught shows her seriously marking her territory lol.

I think he is really dead. How can a sentient being be auto-saved? Do the geth have the technology to do that on the fly, with the reaper enhanced code in the mix? I doubt it, since legion acted like he was REALLY going to die. He would not lie to shepard-commander and creator-zorah like that.forthary wrote...
