Eh, as long as I know you now, I don't think knowing what you look like would change much. I think if you all knew what I looked like then I'd be a bit nervous

You're talking to one right now without so much as flinching!

Oh you know  story being a geeky guy growing up -  you get laughed at,  ignored XYZ and then you retreat into a nice safe zone. Then  you get out of  hell of high school then go the hell of real life/college which nothing more then bunch of people who can't get past high school mentality.(IRONY).  Then you find you niche'   

Funny its easier for younger generation of nerds and geeks its more accepted now ... me. I had to learn to stand on my own but  then i hit the  "**** it" Stage of life where you stop caring about what some of these bimbos think. 

The problem comes when you want to talk that one the matters  and you don't want **** it up  because it ****ed up so much in the past and just want to go right... just once.    

Being called one of the guys is complaint in one sense. 
It just means you have own group of good hearted knuckleheads  that have your back.

We have liked Tali for a long time without knowing what she really looks like.
For most of us it's the character of a person that matters the most. ;P

To my knowledge, my only fear is of the midget psychos from borderlands. Not afraid of normal midgets, but they do make me nervous. If one of them pulled an axe, I would grab a nearby sharp object and go on a killing rampage.

So, there's been quite a bit of talk about the photo we got of Tali's face. A lot of people have asked when Tali was able to take a picture of herself to give to Shepard.
But, looking at the photo a little more closely, I think another question that needs to be asked is where? If you look at the background of the photo, it's got lush, green grass and trees. Which means that, not only did Tali somehow find the time to change out of her suit into something else, and pose in front of the setting sun, but she also hopped onto a shuttle and traveled to a different continent to do so.

Curious implications, Bioware. Probably should have just rendered her in-game:P

haha well its hardly my choice that I'm so shy, I'm just really insecure about nothing (I even started going to the gym :/). I guess I'm just worried that people won't like me/I weird them out, once I get to know someone I become really social/talkative. 

Edit: I also started grew my hair long because I was so insecure with my appearance with short hair, I guess I like to hide behind my hair xD It also helps that I love metal

 

You not  shy - just introverted.  Took me a while to figure out the difference between the two. 

Most of introvert usually don't talk  unless there is something to say ... we don't go out much because its becomes over stimulating  and tiring.  We charge our mental batteries with alone time and good book or game.  Its not that we are anti-social ,  we  a very social but just value quality over quanity.   We like deeper more meanful conversations than just typical small talk.   

I though I was shy once until i realized I really was not all - get me going on a topic that I like and  I will not shut the hell up.

Well, in the real-world, sometimes I may get shy, sometimes I may get nervous, especially if I feel like im asking a stupid question.  But other than that, I don't really have any major problems.  Now, on the other hand, I refuse to get into any sort of relationship.  Even if it was a down to earth exact replica of the Tali that I interact with in Mass Effect 3, it just wouldn't happen.  I lack strength, I lack the intelligence, I lack the will.  It's mostly because of me.

Actually, I adore women. But I have to disagree, you can like somebody over time, even though you dislike them at first. Somehow, however, it's mostly not worth the effort - and that's sad, for I always put too much effort into things. I hate trial and error and don't do it. Guess that's the main reason for single life.

We all have. Her name is tali. And athough most women that I(and others in this thread, i would assume) have had contact with are morons, ****es, or ****s, I do not hate women for it. It isn't their fault, it is how they were shaped in this male-dominated society. American girls tend to be pretty dumb though.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Know that i don't view females in such a way. The biggest part of them i've known in my lifetime i've liked, and indeed, some of them have been close friends. But there is always that select few, in any situation
