you know, after reading tali's fromspring account, it dawned on me. tali and garrus might not be as buddybuddy as we make them out to be. team dextro isnt canon. they might not even see each other as friends and meerly as acquantances. Like a friend of a friend who you dont know but is always at your friend's house parties.
In ME1 and ME2 I got the impression Tali at least didn't particularly like Garrus. She definitely warmed up to him a little in ME2, but I wouldn't call them good friends or anything.
Garrus just likes to be a tease.

All by itself? No. However those glowing eyes and her cryptic message? Yes.
That's not a bad thing though; scary can be sexy.

Looking at some inter-national problems of current world, it makes a lot of sense. I think Humans have a chance for really good relations with Quarrians, and help them repair relation with other species, but that has to be mutual. Quarrians need to want that help, but right now they are too proud, and too hard-set to recover their home world. I am awaiting how BioWare will resolve all the issues that built up in the time of both games, because that is quite a lot of stuff to do politically and with brute force, really if you think about it, a lot of stuff had built up and the paperwork is probably for 500 offices a day to solve, Humanity entered into the Citadel council. Now we have a huge load of stuff to take care of, and Shep is connected to most of those issues.
Quarrians can be extremely important allies, so resolving their issues with the GETH are crucial. Tali could be the best ambassador, and her romantic relations with Shep, actually might be in the way.
i still think this third game needs to have content for at least 100 hours of main questline and another 100 hours for side missions. Bioware made a huge universe, they brewed this beer, now they have to drink it and share with us

Which is made worse by the fact that act was illegal in the first place, and from several points of view even...JustAFerret wrote...
I remember how ignorant I was about how other people treated Quarians. It never became clear to me until that mission with the volus and C-Sec officer. It still wrenches my heart how they are treated in such a hostile manner. It pisses me off even more when the council threatened to bombard their new colony. Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to fix atleast some of their reputation.
It also indirectly shows the Council has no problems taking diametrically opposed actions depending on what's more convenient, even going againt what their predecessors established...
I don't hate the Council, but they certainly are not bastions of coherence...

I've read those all... plus Razor's
Edge and the To Survive series plus lots of others... I'm a bit of a
speed reader so I can burn through fiction fast.
Writing the Tali portions is the easiest part for me... it's the other character sections that can be really tough.
So, we ever going to see any more of the other quarian and his Human LI? Simply curious if there is any more in store for them or if they were your basis for establishing that interspecies relationships is not unheard of for the Quarian people. I'm really enjoying the story thus far BTW.
Edit: snagged the wrong quote

Yeah, I'd imagine that Tali wouldn't hold any love for the council for that. She probably would have fed them to the reapers if she was in Shepard's position.Pride Demon wrote...

Since they were apparently headed for Terra Nova, I guess we may see them again during the Bring Down the Sky arch... Though it's just my speculation...CBKeffer wrote...

Of course! However, I have completed Tali’s loyalty mission with all three outcomes because I’m very curious to see how they are handled in ME3. But for the life of me, I still haven’t managed to finish the game without Tali’s loyalty. It just breaks my heart when she won’t talk to me anymore.paudson wrote...
True... but yet again this is a tali fourm.I'm sure all of us here did the right thing, so no worries here:).HellBovine wrote...
Considering you don't get a romance if you show data or side with legion... I'd guess your renegade face would be the same bucket shes been wearing for the past two games.

I said that as well, compare her figure with Shley, Liara, hell Miranda and Jack too, Tali is the real female in the game, everything else is a trap !
