^^^up three posts. What does 42 mean? why does that mean Tali is the meaning of life? Explain plz

Ashley forced herself on my Sheploo. I rejected her as much as possible but the girl kept coming back!! And then she sent me a message in ME2 like I hadn't rejected her at all!! I figured that it made more sense not for me to rewrite the past and just make a new shep that didn't romance ash, and let my canon shep deal with the problems he started... except there was no problem.... Bioware made it unexist.

For some reason I just didn't import my ME1. I didn't romance Ashley (although it still counted cause she came in my room) so I guess I would have been in the same trap as you guys. Luckily I just started a new ME2 for reasons unknown. I wanted a clean playthrough I guess. - and it turned out for the better!

and now that I think about it, Ashley really is moody and crazy sometimes. loving you then hating you then resenting you... but this is the Tali love thread.

You don't get sick from bacteria; you get sick from viruses. A virus needs the host's DNA to replicate itself. A levo-based virus won't be able to replicate using dextro-based DNA, so it will die off fairly quickly. I don't know if they would live long enough to trigger an alergic reaction.

Bacteria work completely different, and I think Tali might well get an infection from levo-based bacteria, though I must admit my biology isn't good enough to say for certain.

hmmmm. At the very least we can be sure that there will be an allergic reaction. the deadliness of that can range from anything. I am not gonna take any chances with her.

I went that route, as well. As soon as I learned I could romance Tali in ME2, I made a new Shepard in ME1 with no LI.

I just never did any other LI...I liked Tali too much...Then when I found out the possibility of ME2...and the roar we had caused because we wanted her as a LI too...ahhh.

Alright @Cro730, It's from the movie and book by the title Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In it a MASSIVE computer was built by an advanced alien race for the sole purpose of finding the answer to life and everything. Something like thousands of years goes by, and they ask it (called "Deep Thought" I think) what it came up with. 42 Was the answer lol Now I understand it...

Except on the dreadnought part I kept panning the camera back to Ashley to see how angry she was getting. I was expecting her to take it a lot harder, considering her behaviour in both ME1 and ME2. So far Cerberus isn't entirely insane. All bets are off in the future most likely(O-HO!) but you keep 'protecting' colonies while we take out the threat without much if any Alliance support." I know there's multiple sides ot that story but it just...was frustrating to see that scene go the way it did.

Of course, as I thought, all bets were off the second TIM was like, "Shepard, we have to save this base! Think of the technology(and lack of insight regarding studying reaper tech considering everything besides the relays and citadel ends up in indoctrination but whatever floats your boat)!"

Edit: Not to bash the Alliance but they were pretty dumb(sans Hackett and Anderson mainly) in ME2, you have to admit.

I played ME2 first a year ago, and I romanced Tali by dcefault. After that, I started my canon ME1 with no romance and Tali in ME2. I do not like Ashley, but I saved her, I wanted to see what will happen in ME3. I am not amused.

Ironically, I once tried to romance Ashley and failed because that was a renegade playthrough and I was a bit too trigger happy with the renegade dialog options.

I want to do the other romances to see what they're like. Tali will always be the "canon" romance to me (and the best one).

I don't think I want to replay any of the games. It would take away the magic of the first playthrough.

 NOOOOOoooOOOOooOO! I didn't even know they had a radio show (then again, I didn't know Doctor Who had one too). Lucky for me, I have a boundless supply of nerd points... Man cards not so much  Oh well. I can't wait to see more Tali though in the extended cut. I'm always on the look out for real Tali as well  Hurray SETI@Home!

It was the clashing that was fun. Games are interesting when there's someone to dislike. It makes the people you do like look better The whole darkness and light aspect. Tali being the light of course
Agreed about the alliance in ME2. They were really no help at all.

The menu music of ME1 is the Mass Effect theme (the second half of it is more well known, but wait long enough at the menu and it'll get there), so it's not surprising it's often used.
