If Tali traveled back to Rannoch from earth using conventional FTL drives it Would take 23,000 years or 590 generations.

This is based off the fact that FTL in Mass Effect is 5 percent faster then light and light travels at 300,000ft squared.
And I also believe that Rannoch is 62,000 light years from Earth.

To put Perspective on that humans where just learning how to cook 23,000 years ago.

Thought that interesting.

According to the wiki, FTL is ~10 or so LY per day. That is WAY faster than C. 3650 times faster, actually. So your conclusion is off.

Wow. I was way off. So with 10 LY per day it would only take 17 years or 16.9 more precisely.

So Shepard can still build Tali a house on the homeworld. I was wrong.

I like hair, long(ish) really.
For some reason, blonde tends to catch my eye more than others.

long hair, yes. i prefer brunette though

Black/brunette is best. Red hair is also hot. I don't like blonde much (especially dyed blonde, and even more so Japanese girls who die their hair blonde; it looks ridiculous).

I've tried to find which hair colour I like most, but in the end it can be beautiful on anyone depending on the girl. But I think I definitely prefer long hair to short. I've seen short hair that I've found attractive, but its got nothing on long ;)

Well they only had a few hours.  Plus, do you realize how long it would take tali to both take off and put her suit back on entirely?  It was obvious that they had some sort of romantic encounter, but total sex?  Im a bit hesistant to believe that...maybe there's something im missing.

This has been bothering me but I need to ask:
Does Shepard get Tali completely out of the suit when they have sex?

And in ME3 did they have sex or just take a nap?

Also since Tali has dextrose DNA a human/Quarian baby isn't possible is it?

Sheep have similar DNA structure to us... so yeah... Remember all that startrek cross species stuff is from some wierd thing about everone being based of the genetic material from some original galactic race or somthing.

Yeah but in star trek everyone was just a human with wierd ears, noses, or foreheads.

I know, thats why I am sure some people are coming the conclusion it might be possible, while I can't think of any other sci fi where it happens.

They had.. what 3 hours in ME2? Also, Tali mentioned she wanted to take the risk if that was the last time they could be together. its obvious they had sex.

Did they even go full-on in ME2?  I thought it was just a few kisses here and there in Mass Effect 2...boy, I must be blind to the things I am supposed to see...

And I really think everyone is taking the envirosuit thing WAYY too.. umm. Can't think of the word. It is over 150 years in the future, spacesuits are pretty damn good by then. Just think of it like taking off a really tight wetsuit. That's it. But in actuality, combat armor over a tight wetsuit over skintight, thinanti-chafe underwear.

Dat sexy triple layer suit.

Yeah.  In ME3 we don't really know how long they had but Shep is in his skivvies and it seemed like Tali got dressed before him so I am gonna guess he dozed off and she got dressed.  I also imagine that suit of Talis can be removed quickly if needed lol.

Other problems. Fuel for course corrections likely limited. Need to find systems to discharge drives (in Migrant Fleet, takes long time.)

Well, the screen blacked out so technically we dont know, but its pretty obvious. Tali also says she doesnt want to use nervve stims, she wants it to be real.

Didn't find a tali hug gif(that you were probably thinking of) but I did find this:

http://desmond.image...gif&res=landing

I can't
help but notice that the way Tali uses her hands to hug Shepard is
strange...just watch her hands as she hugs Shepard and you may get what
I mean.  Maybe its a quarian thing, not sure.  But its totally fine with
me.

That's... not really a true hug in her ME2 romance culmination scene.
That's Shepard and Tali getting really close and exploring each others bodies for the first time.
Perfectly natural, mutually pleasing thing to do in their circumstance. Unless you mean in scenes other than that gif?

Which reminds me, a friend of mine posted a Tali pic that
made me think of a little scenario between
Shepard and her. Since the LIs don't really inquire too much about what
went on while Shepard was stuck (and bored) on earth...

(Some time after reuniting in ME3 , during an intimate moment:)

"Before the Collector base, Mordin told me how he got in contact with
his favorite nephew. Needed perspective, couldn't "anthropomorphicize
the galaxy", but putting a face to it gave him a reason to care. While I
was stuck on earth, I had a lot of time to think on that. About how we
got here, the faces of everyone I've met, the reasons I care. And every
time, it came back to you"

"Shepard..."

"Also realized I've got a secret, one I'm not sure even you'll believe. (softly) Wanna hear?"

"Try me"

"With or without the helmet, you are the most beautiful woman in the galaxy"

And that's about as far as I'm willing to take my fan fiction producing efforts. XD

Nice Work.

Heating can change considerably depending on the density of the atmosphere and the presence of greenhouse gasses.

I'm really tempted to make a Celestia mod for Tikkun.

Go for it. Celestia is a great visualization tool.

Considering that not everything is accurately stated in the codex (Rannoch being more arid because its closer to its star, most orbital periods being non-Keplerian, etc), 321 K as a surface temperature probably wasn't given a second thought.

With Rannoch being less massive than Earth, there is less gravitiational compression to drive internal heating. With less internal heating than Earth, we'll have to look into atmospheric heating as you suggested. While its surface pressure (0.93 atm) is not indicative of a runaway greenhouse effect, perhaps the composition of Rannoch's atmosphere combined with a higher abundance of greenhouse gases to trap radiation can provide a better explanation for this increase in temperature. Interesting to think about.

Well it seems we're discussing Tali now, so I'll chime in.

I've said this many times before, I like the canon design. However, the quality of the design is not the same as the quality of the reveal. I would have preferred to see an in-game model as opposed to an image. After reading the responses from PAX, it seems like a 3D model was never intended from the beginning.

Honestly, I've become quite tired of the discussion (not here, but elsewhere in the BSN). I've defended the canon design many times, especially agaisnt the claim that it defies the Mass Effect lore. Some people feel that their headcanon = canon, and I can't participate in any meaningful discussion when opinions are thrown around as facts. At this point, I would just like to see what additional scenes Tali will have in this upcoming DLC.
