People seem quite quick to forget that "unable to reproduce" is pretty much part of the definition of what makes something a different species.BigglesFlysAgain wrote...
I know, thats why I am sure some people are coming the conclusion it might be possible, while I can't think of any other sci fi where it happens.
And in those rare cases on earth where two closely related species can produce a hybrid (e.g. a donkey and a horse producing a mule) the offspring is nearly always sterile.

Its not like its glued on, I imagine its has modular construction, so easiy to take off piece by piece.

They had.. what 3 hours in ME2? Also, Tali mentioned she wanted to take the risk if that was the last time they could be together. its obvious they had sex.
Did they even go full-on in ME2? I thought it was just a few kisses here and there in Mass Effect 2...boy, I must be blind to the things I am supposed to see...
I don't think she'd say "Totally worth it" for a kiss or some nerve stims. Also she does mention Shep is the only one allowed inside her suit, plus the flirting and EDI stating that there was initimate physical contact. It's one nice thing about the Tali relationship, they are sexually active and don't pretend otherwise with each other. Nor does Shep deny it if pressed he just plays it off lol.

Yeah. In ME3 we don't really know how long they had but Shep is in his skivvies and it seemed like Tali got dressed before him so I am gonna guess he dozed off and she got dressed. I also imagine that suit of Talis can be removed quickly if needed lol.
Ah yes, the best underwear in the galaxy, of course. Mind you, they could have done something...a bit different. But I guess in Mass Effect 3, it is more obvious they had some form of sex. May not be what we traditionally think, but it still could be. Fine, whatever, I'll conclude that Shepard wasn't feeling too hot and stripped down to his alliance boxers, he actually engaged in some form on intercourse with Tali.
There.

This has been bothering me but I need to ask:
Does Shepard get Tali completely out of the suit when they have sex?
And in ME3 did they have sex or just take a nap?
Also since Tali has dextrose DNA a human/Quarian baby isn't possible is it?
Sheep have similar DNA structure to us... so yeah... Remember all that startrek cross species stuff is from some wierd thing about everone being based of the genetic material from some original galactic race or somthing.
I know, thats why I am sure some people are coming the conclusion it might be possible, while I can't think of any other sci fi where it happens.
I was always under the asumption that you could do some gentictic rewrite on some of Sheperd DNA, then give it to Tali and Baby
you know like invetro-fretilaztion, or along the same lines.

I imagine the suit is like was said, is modular. The idea that it can self-seal sections implies this. And Shep seems to be a pro at taking off her mask at least.

No. Tali's DNA is too dissimilar for that. It would essentially be creating quarian DNA from scratch with traits that are kind of like Shepard's (not all traits will have an exact match). It wouldn't be Shepard's DNA anymore.P47 ace wrote...

Seems like you have an issue with the idea of them having intercourse. That's fine but really they imply it pretty heavily. Tali/Shep comes across as a pretty stable/normal relationship given the circumstances.

Of course they had sex. Somehow I don't think the "totally worth it" dialog in ME3 was referring to heavy kissing.
