When all your doing is insulting my favorite character.

She just wants an answer to her question, which is quite valid. It was a pretty big change.

No, no, telling him would make the whole thing go over his head.

You know, now that I think about the whole thing...if Shepard can't get Tali pregnent...does he really need to use protection?  (I.E.: Condoms)  If not...well, I think the quarians are gonna need protection now more than ever after they settle back onto their homeworld.

Seems like you have an issue with the idea of them having intercourse. That's fine but really they imply it pretty heavily. Tali/Shep comes across as a pretty stable/normal relationship given the circumstances.

You know, you could be right.  I mostly worry about Tali's health when it comes to a situation like this.  I was actually so worried that in Mass Effect 2, I turned down Tali because I was afraid it would get her killed in-game, among other reasons.  It turns out though my guess was wrong, and had Mass Effect 3 been designed really well, I would be suffering consequences in my Tali + Shepard relationship.  Fortunately, that flew above me.

If you factor the health aside, I have no issues with it in their current stage of the relationship.  But, if it was me in that situation...I wouldn't have what it takes to keep going.

Yeah.  In ME3 we don't really know how long they had but Shep is in his skivvies and it seemed like Tali got dressed before him so I am gonna guess he dozed off and she got dressed.  I also imagine that suit of Talis can be removed quickly if needed lol.

Ah yes, the best underwear in the galaxy, of course.  Mind you, they could have done something...a bit different.  But I guess in Mass Effect 3, it is more obvious they had some form of sex.  May not be what we traditionally think, but it still could be.  Fine, whatever, I'll conclude that Shepard wasn't feeling too hot and stripped down to his alliance boxers, he actually engaged in some form on intercourse with Tali.

There.

In the Shadow Broker dossier on tali she got a nerve stim pro. So cuddling?

Well the citadel was designed to screw over all the advanced organics of the cycle...

Also regarding nerve stim pro.  Tali states specifically she doesn't want that with Shepard.  She wants to feel him with her body, she wants it to be real for him to see her under the suit.  All of her.

So how does Shepard get the suit off exactly?

Its not like its glued on, I imagine its has modular construction, so easiy to take off piece by piece.

I think Ashley's clothing might be more uncomfortable to take off considering the design

This has been bothering me but I need to ask:
Does Shepard get Tali completely out of the suit when they have sex?

And in ME3 did they have sex or just take a nap?

Also since Tali has dextrose DNA a human/Quarian baby isn't possible is it?

Sheep have similar DNA structure to us... so yeah... Remember all that startrek cross species stuff is from some wierd thing about everone being based of the genetic material from some original galactic race or somthing.

Yeah but in star trek everyone was just a human with wierd ears, noses, or foreheads.

I know, thats why I am sure some people are coming the conclusion it might be possible, while I can't think of any other sci fi where it happens.

I was always under the asumption that you could do some gentictic rewrite on some of Sheperd DNA, then give it to Tali and Baby
you know like invetro-fretilaztion, or along the same lines.

Ok then, at best it would just be taking some traits from other quarians, then it would not be shepards anyway, so they might as well adopt or somthing, and anything else would be an abomination at best, that would be taking their own interests over the childs future happieness or health.

People can obviously make up their own minds, but I can imagine from the start they both come to terms that they are a couple becuase they love each other, and to make that happen requires sacrafices being with one of their own species would not require, I.e more risky physical contact and no chance of producing offspring.

He does not. STDs that are viral cannot pass from shep to tali or vice versa, and bacteria would probably die out fast as well. The only problem is that tali has an allergic like reaction to foreign substances, and needs to adapt to them. Whether skin, saliva, or sperm, it doesn't matter. So, yeah. We're going all natural up in here.

Am I the only one that liked her suit more overall in ME1? The suit in ME2 has some good aspects(the hood, boots, neck) but i prefer that cloth look over the whole wetsuit thing she got in ME2....*runs for cover*

They aren't 100% clear here.  They tend to overstate the amino acid response in the game though.  In reality it would be very rare for it to have major negative effects.  I assumed something would be used until she adapted fully to him at the least to minimize allergic reactions.

Need I remind you about that one quarian on Illium and her comments on interspecies fluid exchange? I think some form of protection would be necessary, and even saliva exchange would have to limited as much as possible.

You're just so..... Wow its hard not insult you right now so I'll let it go

What'd I do?

What you said about Ashley is so retarded. So I'm letting it go

Then enlighten my simple mind.
Why did a tomboy turn into a Barbie over the course of 3 years?

Not trying to seem rude, but that is honestly what seemed to happen from my POV.

She just let her hair down (literally), unless I'm missing something.

See the comparison.

They Mirandafied her.
-Impractical hairstyle for warfare - even if it's down, why the part to the side and the "bump"? Makes it harder to see.
-She appears to have undergone major reconstructive surgery...
-She has an incredibly tight suit similar to Miranda's leaving little to the imagination
-Appears to have more make-up imo

But anyways this topic is about Tali. I don't really wanna talk about Ashley. She's a meanie bo beanie.

Turian/quarian contact involves more risks. Foreign bacteria have a small chance of being able to survive in the opposite species bodies, since the chirality of their environment will stay the same. Viruses will still do nothing. Unrelated organisms cannot be infected with the same viral pathogens. With human/quarian contact, there is still no risk of viral, but a near 0 risk of bacterial infections. So everything comes down to the immune system reaction.

But I would still reccommend avoiding quarian saliva, as it may cause significant irritation due to the concentration of digestive enzymes within it.
