No. GG made a comment about a character. You started in with personal attacks. A calm civil discussion could have been had, instead there were backhanded comments about letting it go. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Gamer_Girl never once insulted you personally, while the oposite can not be said.

Disclaimer: I am not attacking you, I am simply explaining what happened as I saw it happen in the thread.

Once anger started, better to just stop it rather than cast blame.
TNG DID resort to personal attacks, was less scrupulous for doing so. Still should have ended sooner.
Was there for first round of Romance Wars. Unpleasant. Any threat of it should be shot down fast.

Am sure Tali'Zorah curious too. Especially after Shepard got dextro-amino chocolates for her on holiday.
