I'm eating lunch right now and another little Tali-relevant question popped into my head. If Tali could eat levo-based human cuisine, what do you think her favorite food would be?
that is a good question...
I would have to introduce her to some.. Sushi and Japanese, Italian, Thai, Indian, Carribean, American Diner food, Mediterrean, Mexican, North Calorina BBQ, Kanas City/Midwest BBQ, Texas BBQ.
The Food Network would be our best friend.
Hopefully you wouldn't make her try that much in one go...
Tali: *Visibly bloated* Keelah Shepard, no more, I'm getting sick.
Shepard: *Stuffs food into Tali's... food port?* EAT EEAAAAT!!!
LOL - never in one go this would be over time, slow a new and different suprise - that is too much for any person in one setting. It would at least take a few months this also serves a dull purpose... taking her to each one of those places.

It'd be hard to count to 10...
It was bad enough when the UK had some crazy weird system for pounds...
Glad they switched...
I think they switched... *thinks*
Yeah, we switched.
Gone are the days of tuppence and halfpennies, and crowns and all that.
Now we just have pennies and pounds
I've talked to some people from the UK on XBL and they always say something about "pence" and "quib" - whatever that means...
But yeah, thinking in other bases is strange to me...
human - 64
quarian - 144

I'm a big fan of the Myst games, and the D'ni use a pentavisegimal (base-25) number system. Learning this number system is an important part in solving several puzzles in several of the games, particularly Riven and Uru. Learning the number system in Riven was particularly fun because you're never told the system is base-25.gamer_girl wrote...

At least a computer scientist I have experience in binary, octal, and hexadecimal, which makes it a bit easier to fathom. If it's for Tali, I can learn to count in base-6.

Pence == penny, and quid is a slang term for pound (like in the US you would say buck instead of dollar).gamer_girl wrote...

Tali: "Shepard! STOP stuffing food in my induction port!"
Shepard: "But your not even half-done with your steak! Look at how much you still have!" *Continues to stuff food*
*Tali throws up all over the food and shepard*
Shepard: "Oh god why!?"
You know, now that I think about it, I have a feeling is Tali is going to throw up a few times when she begins to adapt to Rannoch's climate. I hope Shepard has plenty of supplies to help clean up quarian vomit...
You know Quarians being as smart as they are probably have some mechanism for expelling vomit so they don't drown in it inside their helmets. Thus if they have some vomit port in their masks, Tali could shoot concentrated beams of puke... like, she could snipe people... with puke. Maybe she'd do it out the window, for the lulz.
...how did I get here?

I have "experience" in those as well. Though I'm by no means able to pull those conversions out of my head. It takes a while to think of them.Dilandau3000 wrote...

Don't tell me it wouldn't be hilarious if she did it to Garrus though.
Tali: *Sick in a bed* Uuuh...
Garrus: So, that immune system still no-
Tali: *Snipes Garrus with quarian puke ray from eight feet away*
Garrus: *Runs away crying* Shower! Shower!
Tali: Ha... bosh'tet...

I'm scared to ask what this "****got" substance is....
****gots are a traditional dish in the UK especially South and Mid Wales and the Midlands of England. It is made from meat off-cuts and offal, especially pork. A ****got is traditionally made from pig's heart, liver and fatty belly meat or bacon minced together, with herbs added for flavouring and sometimes bread crumbs.
I know...not my cup of tea either.
Also, why has it been edited? Its a type of food, not just a slang term!

In some places, most specifically the United States of America, it is used as a slang term.

Also. United States: The country I sometimes regret living in that makes dumb slang for everything, is filled with idiots (not everyone though, thank god) and has a terrible government.

I think if Garrus was sniped by vomit, after he cleanes off, he would say, "Now that I think about it. That was... IMPRESSIVE!"
He'd also never approach Tali if she had the stomach flu again.
