I don't see it.

For one, she has actual feet; her toes connect to her foot, not to her leg. The foot has an ankle that connects it to the leg (or, at least, it looks far more ankly than none-ankly... Posted Image). I suppose the shape of her toes and maybe the little toe resembling the spur (vaguely) might have something to do with it, but her toes obviously don't have talons, and her little toe branches off from her foot, not her calf.

We can argue this point threw and threw the fact is there Mammals, and humans will identify species on what they recognize as similar traits the key one of being a mammals is Quarians have mammary glands.

I'd also like to point out that mammals have hair (fur) or quills; there aren't any feathered mammals. Scales are uncommon but some mammals do have them.

I think your referring to the Armadillo but isn't that just more along the line of VERY VERY Hard skin Vs a real scale.

Among others, yes, armadillos would suit the bill. But I might not have thought that out correctly; When I said "scales", I meant much larger, harder, smoother versions of the tiny patterning of human skin. I did not mean actual scales, which you can lift up on one side, and that are layed over the skin of the fish/reptile/etc.

Am I the only that hopes she has hair? For some reason, I really don't want her to be bald, cos that's one of the main reason that I don't like Jack :P

Nope, I want her to look like this with scales and much bigger teeth.

No, however not liking someone because they have no hair is fairly shallow.

Tali will probably have a hair stand in, if she doesn't actually have hair. Although, to classify Tali as a mammal (which seems to be a galactic, and not just Earth, term), you would think she'd have hair; the only other possibilities would be fleshy apendages (like Asari; Although since they already have them, they probably wouldn't choose this), horns (no room), or quills (Ever since someone mentioned that, I've found it an interesting idea, fine quills instead of hair. Deffinately not as human as hair! Posted Image).

Edit: Although I *typically* am more attracted to women with hair than women without it, Tali is obviously a LI who doesn't rely on physical appearance; So I don't really care what's on her head, as I know Bioware cares about & knows we care about Tali enough that she'll certainly dissapoint the trolls, whatever she may look like.

Edit2: And when I say I don't care what's on her head, I'm sure I'll be happily chattering on about whatever is there a few weeks after ME3 is out... Posted Image

You hope Tali look like a Neomah*?  Hrm.  Sans piercings, it'd be okay.

***Neomah are lesser sub-demons from Exalted, a tabletop RPG by White Wolf.  They're able to take "flesh" from two otherwise incompatible people/creatures and create a viable child from the samples.  Said children always run a very high chance of being inherently corrupted by the demonic energies that formed them, but not all are.

Eh, not a fan of the design, if only because it makes her too human looking. If Quarians looked like that, they would be even closer to human than Asari do.

I like the way you think. Perhaps partial to the idea of a forked tongue as well?

most crave the exotic when it comes down to tali's appearance, as do I . but if she is revealed and is more human than alian, would you be very disappointed or ok wth how Bioware feels Quarians should look. To me its cool one way or another. I trust Bioware's judgement, besides they gave us tali.

I hope Quarians are exotic and alien looking, like Turians, instead of just more of less being different colored humans, like Asari.

I agree with rojahar, the more alien the better. Recolored human is lame if you wanted a human like person to romance go for jack or *yuck* miranda. Tali should be as alien looking as Garrus IMO

I think a mix of human and alien needed let not lie it wouldn't be bad to have more races share human looks as only Asari seem to.

It's too bad BW already has Asari as human look-alikes. Considering Quarians are mammals, and share the same body structure (more or less, discounting their werewolf legs, their hands, and their feet), they would've had reason to look less alien than, say, a Salarian.

Fix'd... Posted Image ("That was a joke.")

Right. I want to see how Bioware balances keeping Tali looking bizarre-but-not-ugly (which is what, hopefully, they will do). I think we can knock Space Elves off the list, as they have longer, pointed human ears (which would be described as "bigger", if anything), whereas Quarians are said to have something that functions as an ear.

It's gonna be great.

(stupid phone wont let me edit) besides, if you see a human face underneath the mask it would be rather... Unsettling considering this human look-alike has curved shins and 3 fingers on each hand. Like a mutant?
Go alien Tali! because thats what she is... An alien!

They still can to be honest we really don't have that many TRUE Mix races, Asari lean to toward human, Everyone else defiantly alien, but is Quarians are approached like Batarians it could work and look good ((Not look at them but make something look human but oh so alien as well))
