Interesting situation. Not sure if I'd see any interest in a contest for someone's affections. If you're truly compatable, you should have already won the competition before it even escalates. I'm plenty competetive with many things, but a meaningful relationship shouldn't be based on a contest.

I don't mind a bit of competition for fun provided that the odds were either in my favor, even, or slightly against me, but otherwise I shy away from competition.  I would rather crawl under my bed and cower in the darkness than to risk it and lose what I got.

Sooo where to hang my tali picture. computer room or my room. hmmm...

Hanging mine in my computer room/office.  I decided to decorate it in modern nerd.  One one wall I have this poster:

On another a  Witchhunter Robin wall hanging.

The lithos will go on the wall next to me I think.

Depends on what food they eat, and if someone spiked the food.  Dextro Laxatives...

Antics? Oh this will be fun, wish I could get away with more antics here...

Well, im not sure if a human dating a quarian is considered a normal date...but it can sure can be a heck of a lot of fun.  I think Tali could use your coding expertise in pulling a few pranks on commander Shepard, gamer_girl; old coding languages still have their use in Tali's time...

Or they could invite the Star Kid to have dinner with them.
He will bring dessert it will be ice cream; one is blue, one is green, and one is red but they all have the same flavor.

Not truly a contest. That would be uncouth.
It's more of a... figuring things out while two people try to sway you in their direction. It's fun, because the object of coersion can be coerced into believing something that is not necessarily true, but as time tells, and trials bring to light, their true feelings that they may not have even been aware of become clear to them.
:)
I hope that was not too confusingly worded.

And in that case, I'd say the current arrangement of the romance subplot plays out in the correct fashion.

Wait what? LOL. Neat, live there for very long? I'm assuming life there was spent either living on one of the various bases or avoiding the multitude of personell. I only lived there for 2.5 years, but I loved it.

Right you are, good sir. I sadly have no recollection of it. My dad's career USMC, and along with my mom, we lived there for about two years. Would love to go back one of these years though.

On topic: don't think I can debate with the hypothetical having to "earn" or "compete" for a Tali romance in-game. Shepard earned her adoration back in ME1 by treating her like a person instead of a "suit rat", being compassionate (or driven at any cost), going through hell and back with her alongside, and being an all-around badass. Not to mention potentially helping her on her pilgrimage directly, with the Geth data. For this scenario of needing to "earn" her romantic inclinations, you'd have to completely divorce her from the ME1 experience. *shrugs*

I don't have a computer room ;__;
So my bedroom is my computer room.
......You can look at it in the artistic sense, and the creepy bells will fall silent. When you wake up and are about to fall asleep is when your subconscious is most susceptible. So seeing Tali on the wall will inspire dreams, well-written fanfiction and quality art with her as the main subject.
Its a fine line.... between creepy and artistic....

You kidding?  Of course not.  Unfortunately, my real ideas of having fun here would probably involve breaking the rules, and thus getting this thread locked.  It would probably involve editing posts I normally wouldn't have access to, screwing with the threads so they display in a random order, changing the thread title, and all that fun jazz.

But, I still have my fun here from time to time.  Believe me.  That party certainly was unexpected.  Image IPB

...This story's getting longer than I thought. It's set in ME2 during the time aboard the Normandy, hunting down the Collectors. About...halfway done? Maybe. Dunno...it's getting interesting to type this out.

oooohh Tali....maybe I will put it next to my halo poster in my room then. It is also darker in my room so it will be less prone to fading as well. hmm....

no not really creepy, I dont think. Unless I put it on the wall right at head-level next to my bed. That would be awkward.

Well, if he installs it right, it shouldn't fall down on his head when he sleeps.

*Laughs at the thought of someone in this thread getting hit in the head by a Tali poster while sleeping*

Or is there something else that I should know?

If only they sold Tali body pillows or plush dolls.

Maybe i worded that incorrectly in response to what you said. My brain is becoming a bit tired.... Nothing about bended truths, or coercion. What I meant was that the whole thing with Garrus was theoretically there in the story even if Tali was your person of interest. Possibly with some off camera conversations between the three of them. But, she falls for Shepard anyway. Whether Shepards acts on this is still entirely up to the player, though.
