Always look at the settings in the top-right sceren of the lobby. They can be changed by the leader after you've connected to the match (note: if you're ready and the leader changes something, you will become unready).
And sometimes the search does appear to screw up (particularly if you search for a particular location it will very often still find matches with an "unknown" location).

If you want to be sure, create your own match. Then you get to decide.

Yeah.. I've found that out. And I usually check the location and the enemy... Never usually think to check the difficulty because that's one thing it's never switched on me... I think the host changed it after everyone joined, honestly.  because a jump from Bronze to Gold.. O_o It was fun.. I revived alot of people though.. Got revived alot...  A challange.. but.. interesting.. Mostly it was a huge surprise.. here I was expecting a simple match.. and WHAM  My Face was..   Then I was... Welll.. LEts.. give it a try and see.

However, I think many would say she's perfect in her imperfection. I really liked his description on why the Garrus/Tali romance thing popped up, saying that constant bickering and teasing is the basis of most relationships. Also I agreed with his reasoning on how  Tali got the face reveal that she did (and how getting back her planet counted as her "date"), but I still think they could have done her a *little* more justice in making a 3D model as well.

Really wish I could have had the time to wait in that long line to talk to him in person though.

Didn't say more effort couldn't have been used, quite the contrary. However, they still chose a good facial model. Also, I'm pretty sure neither you nor I know exactly what constraints kept them from doing certain things. I will say that the game does smack of "rushed", especially the Earth bits from the demo and the ending. I don't see the (bad) choices they made as laziness, rather a lack of time/resources.

Well...true, mostly. There was the one batarian shopkeeper on Omega who would sell his stocks for lower if you persuaded him. He was pretty cool.

But I can look past the hatred for batarians so long as I get to smack the crap out of enemies with my rifle and impale them with omni...spike things.

Then leave the forums, don't buy their games. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt (for now) but it's not worth getting worked up over. If anything, I'd blame EA over Bioware. They're the ones with the control, sadly.

I too wish to play as a male quarian, would be interesting. My guess is that they wanted to get more races out there to play as. Are we missing any others? I can think of Volus, Elcor, Vorcha and Hanar and that's about it.
