BY VECTRON'S KINDLY CLAW. MASS EFFECT 1 KROGAN ARE FREAKING TERRIFYING.
Replaying ME1 on max difficulty, imported shep, no problem whatsoever. Hit feros, still easy as pie. Hit that room with 4 krogan in it and I get RAPED. Died like 6 times before I was able to stagger them so they wouldn't insta gang me. It was like fighting 4 praetorians at once. Damn, ME2 and 3 enemies are so freaking weak in comparison. Good thing they are 100x more intelligent.

Yeah ME1 was harder.  I've noticed that immediately.  Also your squaddies are squishier to start.

Not so much HARDER, just required more BRAIN.(tactics)
ME2, if you're brainless, you can win. Try to use tactics, you die.
Dont even get me started on ME3's gameplay (facepalm)
BUT ABOUT DAT TALI

edit: the next clue takes them to Ashleys house, where her knowledge of Alfred Tennyson and Walt Whitman will come in handy...

Goodnight guys!

*Takes normandy to Ashley's house*

*Rings doorbell*

*Door opens*

Shepard: "Ashley?"

*Gets kicked in the groin by Ashley, no effect due to plating.  Ashley rolls her eyes and slams the door shut, locking it*

Shepard: "Damn!  Looks like ill need to find another way in.  Wait a minute..."

*Sees something sticking out of mailbox, opens it up and finds...a package!*

*5 minutes later, after tearing the final layer out of the package*

Shepard:  "Well, what do you know?  It's...a god*#@% clue!  But now this has to be the last one, I know where this is..."

*Looks at picture of normandy with Shepards bed in view*

*Searches under his bed, opens his secret stash panel and finds...a treasure box!  But it's locked...*

Invisible Tali: "Looking for the key to that, Shepard?"

Shepard: "Tali?  Where are you?"

Invisible Tali: "I'm right ovver here, Shepard."

*Tries to pinpoint Tali, notices its coming from the duct that leads to the fish tank, climbs up and searches*

Shepard: "Really?  Well, I can't quite see you."

Invisible Tali: "Of course not, Shepard."

*turns around, doesn't see anything*

*Notices a faint ripple in the water*

Shepard:  "I have you now!"

*Shepard dives into the fish tank, easily locates Tali and tickles her for the key, Tali laughing uncontrolibly*

*Shepard races back to open the chest, and finds...*

*Oh god, the suspense is killing me...*

*What is it!?  WHAT IS IT!?*

*Shepard finds a noisy cricket as well as a gold-plated arc pistol, some universal chocolate and a crapload of stuff that put a big smile on Shepard's face.*

Tali: "So...care to share those chocolates with me, Shepard?"

Shepard: "As many as you want."

*Scene fades as Shepard and Tali share chocolates*

BUT ABOUT DAT TALI

ME1 enemies are just so much meatier. Geth snipers almost 1shot you, destroyers are basically praetorians that can sprint. Everything is just FAR tougher and does FAR more damage. In ME3, I fought 6 butes at the same time on veteran, and it was no problem. They never got to my hp. ME1 you need to chain your powers constantly and just NEVER STOP SHOOTING. 10-20 seconds of concetrated fire to kill a damn krogan. Freaking IMMUNITY!!

But no, not really "hard", just different. All enemies are just incredibly beefy morons who run straight at you.

-shrug-

Wrex is a biotic.

As is Liara.  And Kaiden.

Just because you don't use half of your team doesn't make the game really hard.  it just means you purposely make it worse for yourself.

Even using just Garrus and Tali, and having no biotics yourself, i didn't ahve too much trouble with that on Insanity.

Strangely enough, most of the time I don't bother.  Guns and tech is where it's at.  Biotics are wanna-be gods.

Unfortunately, yes. I would have liked garrus/tali to be as good, but nothing can really match wrex/tali. Too much badassery.

But yeah, ME3's gameplay is plenty of fun, and ahrder than the other two titles. Sorry.

Though, that being said, it was easy to find yourself dying on insanity in ME2 for stupid effing reasons.

Adept with Tali/Garrus automatically made me unstoppable. You had a little bit of everything.
