You can fix that with the gibbed save game editor. There is info somewhere on it, I quoted it in this thread ages back but don't recall it. Just a couple of strings you have to modify that makes the game think Ashley is your friend, even if she's only a friendly zombie.

I think I remember Tali breaking the ship, anyone got a yt vid of that? Ash was Ash in that playthough

Which would be fine if Tali or Garrus was unromanced.  They screwed up though and did not create alternate conversations when either was romanced. 
Tali should have said "Excuse me Garrus, but Shepard is here to talk" and then allowed Shepard and her to speak instead of brushing him off EVERY time.
Don't know about others but I really got a feeling that BW just wanted to tease the fans and give us all the finger.

It certainly felt like that at times. Still, there were clearly some areas they focused on in this game and other areas they didn't take the time to think about. I don't think I've ever seen a game that ended up such a patchy mixed bag of good, bad and fugly.

He is implying playfully that he "owns" her in a sexually dominant kind of way. I dunno why I'm the only one who saw it that way... O_o

I think you're misinterpreting it...
Tali was being insecure, Shepard was reminding her that he called her up there because of his feelings towards her, and was being firm and unshakeable about it, being her support while she was under a lot lot of stress as an admiral.

Yah, its shepard reashuring her. Plus, from her other dialog sugests that.SHE is dominant in the bedroom.

That's eventually one of the conclusions I came to as well.  It wasn't my initial thought though when I first saw it.

I think in some way the lines are designed to be taken in different ways depending on context. Since it seems they had planned a Garrus/Tali romance since ME2, I'm not surprised they wrote it a lot of the scenes in a way that the context can change. Although that also leads to a certain amount of annoyance from Talimancers.

It makes sense given that bioware seemed somewhat rushed by their deadlines. I guess that ultimately makes it EA's fault. Bioware just found a creative solution. I think this is a very similar thing to why so many of the romance scenes with characters are nearly identical when they are merely friendship scenes.

After being impressed with the artwork here I've been having a go at a Tali drawing (it'll take me forever to finish it and I've not tried drawing anything for years). Out of all the things to draw what is it with her feet? They're coming out completely wrong no matter what I do!

Well, for some bizarre reason, Mass Effect save files can't be copied, so you will end up deleting the data from your hard disc...
But then you'll get a shiny replica on your USB drive, which can be extracted, backed up, edited, and all kinds of stuff.
You can even get Resurgence Pack, N7 gear, and other pre-order things.

I could have sworn I saw that xbox systems can use the gibbed editor as well.  Just have to copy save to USB for porting to and from.
But, since I have not owned a gaming console since the atari 2600, I may be a little out of touch.

I had to use some sort of workaround program to get my Shepard's face code into ME3, so if it's anything like that I have some hope that I can use gibbed to fix this issue. However, I do have some fears/reservations about what kinds of OTHER bugs it could cause...

Its meant to be light hearted, I don't think it really is meant to show her as incompetent, but with Adams tali and the K and G who is in charge down there? lol
