No. I have no hope for this series. It was ripped out of me piece by piece during ME3. I have nothing left except for tali.ShepardAndTali wrote...

I agree. And... regarding the question, Tali will probably go down as my favorite female character ever. Impossible to live up to that, I believe.
Favorite? For me not sure. Lot of good women out there, can't quite figure out my favorite.
Best serious LI of all time? Totally.
Yeah, BioWare is awesome at making LIs. Found myself going for one in every game of theirs I have played; Bastila Shan, Elara Dorne, Ashley Williams, Tali'Zorah, etc.

The Doc's quote made me almost cry... And the reason i have been depressed lately...Its my Father lets just say that...He and my mother are divorced because of an affair since i was 5... He is not driven to the point where when i have kids I REFUSE to abandon them or forsake them... Sorry had to get that off my chest...Grimez7 wrote...

They'd not do a tali clone for another Quarian. And I still have hope. Keelah Se'lai

While the need to vent their heads of all the hot air, wrap it in shrink wrap, apply a thermonuclear bombs worth of heat, pull it and their wallet out of their asses to fix it right.
There is still the chance that there still is a level headed person in bioware/EA. And they will get it done
Call me optimistic, but still I hope for better

Yeah. Even if we restrict it to favourite female character in computer games, there's characters like April Ryan from The Longest Journey (who's argually one of the best female protagonists ever) to contend with.forthary wrote...

I have high hopes that the extended cut will provide what I want from the ending (closure, emotional connection, filling some plot holes, more personalisation based on choices).P47 ace wrote...

Simultaneously, I believe it's not going to provide what a lot of other people seem to want (indoctrination, removal of the starchild, a boss battle, house on the homeworld; though for the latter I hope the new ending will leave the possibility more clearly open than the current one). Then again, I've believed those expectations were utterly unrealistic from the start.

Everytime I get to that part, I wish for one of the choice spinner things to pop up and offer to:
A. Get to Business. (No, not that kind.
B. Get back to bed and get back to business, for atleast another hour. (Maybe some cuddling, etc.)
Atleast the Cerebus base after this has one of her best romance lines, so still alright.

Exactly, I am waiting for extended cut, before I cut all hope.
Extending ending solves little. Will hold the line after.
May prove me wrong. But extremely doubtful.
Keep making noise until Bioware listens.

Yes, that's what I've been assuming. If the extended cut makes that clearer and does so in an emotionally satisfying way, I'll be happy. I don't think there's more we can reasonably expect at this point.Ryuji2 wrote...
Well, from what I've been reading about the clarification extended cut thing, there won't be a galactic dark age, no one starves and if you picked destroy, you get to reunite with your crew very shortly after the reapers are destroyed. Twitter responses mainly.

Everybody still starves and a galactic dark age ensues unless they retcon. The crew rescue can just be hand waved away with no real issue. Can't be fixed. The ending needs to be amputated like the cancer it is.Dilandau3000 wrote...
