Basically, if you have some App and link it to your origin account, Shep gets extra messages.  After rekindling the romance with Tali, she'll send him a message thanking him for a good night.

Thanks, but I thought the missive was concerning the first meeting of Shepard and Tali in his cabin.  The one which ended in the fadeout as Tali said 'Okay'.  (Which I might add REALLY said a lot in just a single word) 

Yah i love the way she says that. But they were luckly talking about the scene before the Cerberus base.

Well, from what I've been reading about the clarification extended cut thing, there won't be a galactic dark age(FTL gets upgrades and/or Mass Relays eventually get rebuilt), no one starves and if you picked destroy, you get to reunite with your crew very shortly after the reapers are destroyed.
