There's an ME skin for  rainmeter, I just rearranged it how I like it, and got the background somewhere on the internet, probably here haha.

Nice is that a theme or you just create it? I can see you are a games lover, so you play MW3, nice

Close.. BF3 :P. And yeah most of my other games are just in Steam or Xbox.

Holy #$^#$$ that is awesome!! I think I'll have to get that rainmeter thing... Does it still cycle background images like Win 7?

I had a dream that this thread got locked, due in no small part to an amusing discussion last night.

By the way, whoever posted that latest ME3 "Lost" comic where Tali jumps off a cliff, awesome. Favorite ending comic series I've seen so far.

The reapers were gave us a blow. Batarians eyterminated. The Citadel destroed. The Krogan genophage cured. And the Terminus system's advancement. The cure really divided the ppl and the Terminus systems started a war against Council space. The Citadel, was destroed and the Council was moved to Palaven. The Salarian Union completly collapsed due to infigthing and arguing about the cure. The Turians were standed with the humans and the Asari are rebuilding and do not care about the wars blaming it on everyone else. The start is this. It will advance later.

Just the basic idea. I do not want to spoil it. The world we united is collaped. Alliance and the Council Systems are collapsed, Termunus Ssytems, Attican Traverse everyhting. New alliances are formed and new wars are standing above us like the shadows of the reapers.

You'd need a REALLY good explaination for how governments that have existed for thousands of years completly collapsed in thirty.

Star child.  :P

What part of "REALLY good explaination" didn't work? That barely made sense in the GAME.

Space magic.

Shepard disappearing. He united them. Maybe he retired with Tali to Rannoch, or Earth, refusing to participate in the galactic future anymore. Earth was basically destroyed, as were Palaven and Thessia, not to mention the Batarians were nearly extincted completely, and the Volus and Elcor lost their homeworlds, plus the Citadel turned out to be the core of the Reaper AI, and the Council at least knew for 3 years that the Citadel was a vital part of Reaper invasions in the past and ignored it. That the Reapers built it and everybody was invited to live on it so they could be more easily destroyed.

The trust of lesser species in the council races would probably drop to rock bottom if that was propagandistically used against them. The turians would be royally pissed by the Asari who didn't really help defending Palaven and joined the fleets rather late. The Asari would be traumatized their goddess was a Prothean beacon and their homeworld burned to a crisp. Also, Liara would probably refuse to represent them, making the Asari virtually leaderless. The Turians would rally behind House Vakarian, the noblest of all remaining families by no doubt, and possibly closely ally with the humans. The Salarians never lost their homeworld, which would cause envy by all other species.

I can understand the turmoil. Sadly, I won't have no part in this nonsense. Too many councils didn't listen to me. I'll enjoy my time with Tali, shoot clay pidgeons with Garrus, all that jazz.

Well, Tali and Shep is living their life on Rannoch, AND they will play a part in my fanfic. I have a few plans and a main concept, but I need a few thing cleared in my head and etc.

Also as i stated in my earlier post and this ^:

Well I have a Tali topic though Im not sure if it's been discussed since this thread grows so fast. lol

Do you guys think that Tali still finds the name vas Normandy to be something associated as negative? or do you think it's something that she takes pride in because of her time, friends, and accomplishments on the Normandy; as well as Shepard. ;) Or do you think she still views it as negative but only likes it when the title comes from Shepard's lips as "Miss vas Normandy"?

At first Tali seems to feel a bit awkward about the title "vas Normandy".

Serving on a human ship instead of a quarian one must feel a bit like a slap to the face for a quarian.
But after the ME trilogy every quarian would be proud to have served on this ship.
Unless you sided with the Geth of course...

Actually if you sided with the geth and pulled it off properly you end up with a scenario where you and tali were directly involved in brokering peace. so that would make the normandy even more famous lol to both sides lol

I do not like the batarians, hell, I hate them, but they had a place in the univserse as a race. They made it more unique, even if they are evil. And remember, the Hegemony goverment filled their heads with propaganda aginst humans.

Good luck on the fanfic. I'm really looking forward to it :) especially seeing where you take Tali and Shep on Rannoch.

Does anyone know anything about the Leviathan that the batarians picked up? Seems like a spacefaring organic being would be pretty important to study.

It's brought up in ME3. It was a reaper. It indocrinated a bunch of batarians and basically opened up all their defense systems so that they could steamroll the batarians and make dem some more troopies.

That, but you only get to find it out from Balak if he lived. I killed Balak, so found out from the wiki
I always suspected it was a Reaper (well as soon as I found out about Sovereign).

Agreed, some Batarian plague victims on omega seemed harmless enough in me2, its mostly the proppaganda of their government.

The batarians aren't all evil. Like Kaidan says about aliens when you're talking to him in ME1, "they're jerks and saints just like us." The batarian government is cruel and so are batarian pirates/slavers. Batarian people aren't all bad though. That makes their "endangered species" status sad to me.

yeah it definitely had a name. I think it was based on an animal companion that the character from Baldur's Gate in which Tali is based off of had.

Edit: "Chikktika vas Paws, a reference to Aerie's battle cry in Baldur's Gate, "Faster than Chikktika Fastpaws."

Not sure what Balak said, but they number in the milions or 100,000s now?
