Shepaed and tali settle down on ranoch, living in a house on their land. Garrus comes to visit now and then, bringint gifts for their adoptive children.

I just thought about that and almost cried because I "awwwww"d so hard. I just thought of this little group of multispecies children (reminded me of Brangelina XD) all yelling "UNCLE GARRUS" and bombarding him with little hugs. :P

Perfect ending, Now if I only had the money of Bioware and the skills. I would SO make that the official ending. I agree, endings don't have to be complicated. Just a simple happy ending.

Can we PLEASE get a Marriage DLC for our romance?

I know us Tali people would buy that DLC in a heartbeat.

I think Javik would be a far better motivational speaker.

Javik: "Give up your futile struggle, you fool. Death is far kinder than what fate has in store for you."

Elcor: "*frowning* You are right. *sad* I don't want to live any longer."

Javik: "The airlock is over there. That'll be 50 credits."

LOL, I don't know Conrad Verner would be a pretty good motivational speaker I think too. ;)

We don't really need money and skills, I bet there are a lot of skilled Unreal engine Modders in the ME Fanbase. What we need is their codes and programs to work with their archives.

But you're true about that DLC. Marriage would also be a great Epilouge for EC after reuniting with crew. (first rebuild relays or develope new engines, however)

The Tali Wedding DLC

I know, I just think a Marriage DLC would be fun. I don't know about all of you, but weddings are fun. Partying, food, friends and love. I mean come on, if they could make a simple DLC like Shep visiting the crash site of Normandy which was sad I'm sure they could make a wedding for us.

We would be at the alter and we could choose our own vows from different choices. Tali would be without her suit in a beatiful white and purple dress lol. Imagine Shep killing it on the dance floor, EDI asking Joker when they will get married, Garrus brings the doctor who gave him Choclates to the wedding as a date.

This would be amazing.  WEDDING DLC PLEASE, that is the only ending I need!

P.S. Bored at work so don't mind me ;)

Look, I love Tali as much as the next guy, but there are some things that should stay to fanfics.

Okay, I wanted to see what all of you think on a few things.

1. Do you think Tali and Shep's relationship would be accepted on Rannoch after they return to live their lives after destroying the reapers (my own personal ending :) ) I mean, I have never heard or seen another Quarian with a human.

I would think they would treat Shep like a hero since he was the man who gave them back their homeworld, even though I'm sure one of the Admirals would take all the credit.

2. What would live be like for them after the events of Mass Effect 3? I mean, it seems like it would be hard for them to have a relationship if Shep stays with the Alliance. I mean, how do couples who live in different solar systems handle relationships? The only way I could see them continuing would be Shep coming to live on earth or Shep living with her.

What do all of you think?

I would think that after the events of ME3, one of the first priorities would be to create a new council. I can imagine pressure on Shepard to take the role as Human councellor, given he united the galaxy and tension would likely be high with the mass relays destroyed. They will take time to rebuild (if they can be rebuilt). Shepard wouldn't want the role, but a lot may depend on how long it is likely to take to get to Rannoch. If it seems better to wait until the relays are rebuilt then to start a long FTL slog, then he may temporarily take over as Councellor. Maybe Tali would be Quarian councellor, assuming the new Council is open minded enough to allow new members (and if they wanted Shepard, he would no doubt insist).

Once a return to Rannoch is more feasible, he (and Tali) can retire and I doubt anyone would complain. Perhaps he would become a human ambassador to Rannoch. I suspect he would be mostly accepted and they would be fine with his relationship with Tali. They would both be heroes. Now cross species relationships aren't unsual, we know that from conversations. But of course some people would object to it, just as some would object to the peace with the Geth and others to their destruction post peace. But mostly they would be fine.

After a while (and after building and enjoying there house for a while), I imagine both Shepard and Tali would get some wonderlast and may start a bit of space travel in the local areas. Trading for resources and maybe a bit of exploration. Who knows where they would end up, but whatever happens they would be together and therefore happy.

I don't know if I missed something but I'm not entirely sure they're keeping it hidden or atleast just private.

Anything ingame whether it's forbidden (but oh so good Image IPB), frowned upon or just rare?

Well for a Quarian to have a relationship with another species.

EDIT: Well there's the "not infront of Xen" part but wasn't that a question of professionalism and the fact Tali doesn't like her?

Well it was not in front of Raan actualy, so more not wanted to tell her adopted mother figure.
And from what mordin can tell you in me2, somone has done the "research" about Human+Quarian before

They pulled the Xen stuff, but supposedly Xen made some comments regarding the relationship at some point.   And I suspect it would be somewhat frowned upon due to her position but also that it is not unheard of.  Also that email from Rael when she joins the crew in ME2, you can see at least he suspected something talking about your "influence on her."

You can see hints of things going back to ME1 with how she felt about Shep.  I found that pretty cool.  But ME2 makes it very obvious though.  It's not the official romance stuff that really reveals it imho.  It's the loyalty mission at the end of the trial.  When you tell her she deserved better, her response is "I did get better, I got you."

I was thinking the same thing here.  Retirement.  It is time for Shepard to put the omni-blade down and his days not as a soldier, but a man.  A husband.  The galaxy can take care of itself now that the reaper threat is gone.

If I'd be Shep, I'd instantly leave the Alliance. Enough is enough I'd say. I'd settle down with Tali on Rannoch and thats exactly what I hope will happen^^ Anyway, military speaker doesn't sound bad. Or maybe I could again be the "face of the alliance" to hire recruits.
But I mean, its peace finally. So this should be the point where I start a new life apart from war. Maybe some day again, when the galaxy needs a hero - but priority is to live safe with Tali, have a great life, invest my energy in loving her. Thats what my Shep deserves.

Same here.  After all that I figure it would be time to stand down.  Shep is a soldier not a diplomat.  Though if I were to be pulled back in I would run it by Tali first.  It would be hard to say no if needed though.

I still say that: "Shepard, AI love consultant" is a pretty obvious retirement choice.

If there's peace between geth and the quarians it seems like theres a market.

Actually, I believe that role is best suited for Javik.  He has over 50,000 years in AI experience.  I'm sure he can tell you a few things about AI's and love.

Lol, for some odd reason I see Javik being divorced lol. That dude didn't know how to hold stuff back. I'm sure he didn't have a lot of success with talking to women.  He seriously spoke his mind. For example:

Javik's Wife: Honey, does this combat armor make me look fat

Javik: of course it does, what type of silly question is that!

Lol

It's Techpriestess Tali, yes! I found it during a random goolgle search one day. I think I might colour it in for giggles.

Hep... Very coincidentally I'm replaying me2 or uhm ... this conversation is coincidental.

According to Tali herself it is definately not unheard of for a Quarian to be with one from another species.

Usually though it is the... uhm... "safe" suited version.

Don't know if you can take this as an indication that longer deeper relationships of Quarians + other species are rare. Eg. pilgrimage being semi spring break like. *lol*

Hmm... I tend to believe Tali is just private due to her father having been a public figure.

Perhaps the shadow broker can dig up some information for Tali regarding inter-species relationships...

Although at this point in the relationship with Shepard and Tali, they know enough about each other that they accept and love each other for who they are.  The information the shadow broker can dig up might not help much.

Only need that bit of info from the Doc. Safety is a good thing. Quarian kama-sutra is TMI.

Wasn't there a Turian/Quarian couple on the Citadel talking about such relationship in one of the ME games ?
I'm sure I remember a couple discussing their curious relationship in a bar.
