Ok, on another Talitopic how much do people think she would like to return to Rannoch if (no, WHEN!) her and shep are reunited, I got the feeling at the end of the Rannoch mission that she had reached the end of the rainbow, but the gold was tarnished with all lost lost to get there. I know having a suit less environment would be important to her, but  would being there be as important to her as before she had been there?

Again, agree. After finally reaching the homeworld, the second quarian to set foot on it and survive, she realizes that it was an emotional goal for the quarian people, not a physical one. I feel like she won't be too hasty to retire there, but will stay on with shep&co cleaning up the galaxy. She is too active and strong of a person to just lay back and soak the sun. Also, I feel like most quarians are going to have hard times getting used to rannoch. Agoraphobia is probably going to be a severe issue after 300 years on cramped starships.

I think the scars of the conflict are raw for her at that time. She can't celebrate victory because of the lives lost. Shes lost her unit on Haestrom, her father and legion, not to mention all those quarian lives lost because she couldn't avert the war.

But she will return. She wants to be there, otherwise she wouldn't have taken her mask off. She just needs time to heal, i think.

This is off topic but it has been bugging me. They says it is illegal for a Quarian couple to have more than 1 kid. But that would mean a negative population growth. To have a sustainable population you need an average of 2.11 kids per couple or something like that (the .11 part is to account for gay people and deaths).

Law is temporarily lifted when population needs to grow. Talk to tali in ME1 about it.

From a very devoted fan. ;P I like it.

I wonder how previous Quarians handled inter-species relationships? Maybe Tali can get some advice

Wasn't there a Turian/Quarian couple on the Citadel talking about such relationship in one of the ME games ?
I'm sure I remember a couple discussing their curious relationship in a bar.

I love this picture. They did a great job of Tali without his mask. You know what I really do like about them showing her face, even in picture format? Is that it inspires drawing like this. I'm seeing more and more drawings of Tali without her mask using the face from the photo she gave you and it's cool. Its like we have two Tali's almost.

There is the Tail with the mask and then without. I think the more people who draw pictures and the more photos we see of her without her mask may make it where Bioware starts to put her face into future content, in game, actually model. Never know. Either way, I do think it's cool as it makes me see Tali in a completely different light.

Just my random thoughts. Awesome drawing

But it would make more sense to put it at 2 children...

They also mention about births and such on the quarian page of the Mass Effect wikia.  In addition to being able to temporarily lift the regulation on zero-population, they can also offer incentives for multiple births.  I am not sure if I can be persuaded to 'do my part' in quarian society with incentives; I may just end up dying instead.  But I think I may change my mind if I was in the actual situation; im not sure.

Well zero growth is a comlicated thing and I am sure its just bioware not thinking about it too much in great deph, I am sure Quarains can have quite long potential life spans, and the law is suspended when needed

But it isn't zero population growth, it is negative.

But the quarians don't want growth. They struggle to get enough resources at the best of times. They want to remain consistant.

And growth can't be that negative. Look at China. They have/did have a policy which stated no more than one child per family, and it didnt do their growth any harm.

Now that they have their homeworld back, they will no longer have to worry about such things.  Or at least, not as much as they used to.

Well said, I completely agree. I think returning to her homeworld is a very emotional moment. Everything her people and her went through, plus it's a moment she shared with Shep which adds more importance. I could just tell by the way Tali talked about her world when we first touched ground it was an emotional rollercoaster for her.

I personally think, unless Shep has a problem with it that they would choose to live their lives there. I doubt she would retire because I agree that isn't her personality. Maybe she will open up a ma and pop store for antibotics ;)

Maybe tali presents it wrong. Its not a law of the fleet set in stone like thou shall not kill, but something the fleet is currently implementing due to an increasing population. I am sure as political tides change things like that change too.

Edit: BOB SAGET!  Hang on, finding a picture...

Agreed. Now with their homeworld back I'm sure they are going to be having a lot and i mean a lot of babies. As long as the Quarians learn to work with the Geth and don't repeat pass mistakes they could become one of the most dominat species. Shame for everyone treating them like crap over the years. :(

Is there a link to the different artwork from Revan. Is there a main page or thread with all of the tali art?

Look up Europes population crises please, it basically means their breeding population would half every generation. You need 2 kids to replace the mother and fathers place.
