Which reminds me, I've finally started planning out my fanfic. It's gonna be using the indoctrination theory and will tell what happens after Shepard wakes up in the rubble at the end. There will be much Tali of course ^_^

Sounds good.
I'm still planning my Tali pilgrimage one.

Indeed. So much nothing :(

We need inspiration...

I KNOW! If we were devs in charge of creating a dlc that revolved around tali, what would we create? Taking into account we want it to be epic, and long.

Actually, I would first change the ending. Drastically. Remove several points, shorten extreme amounts of the discussions, give much more choice than the one we were given. Also, put in logic and survivalism.

That would take a lot of time. Afterwards, there should be an escape mission on the Citadel itself. That would be my suggestion - the ending, yes, you have done it, but now you have to get out. Good time for some frantic com chat, too. And maybe get some survivors out, you know, overriding controls, maybe get even in the old citadel tower control room from ME1.

Afterwards, well. Extensive videos of reuniting. Then we talk about expansion, like meeting up with Tali, fighting some Quarian-Geth-Problems, Batarian slavers trying to attack a space station...something like that.

Well, how about this. At some point after Rannoch, say, after Horizon, Tali gets a message from Raan. She is needed urgently at Rannoch. Quarian/admiral business. You take her there, and thus starts some sort of mission revolving around Xen and some breakaway quarians, who refuse to work alongside the geth.

Could work, seems plausible that the transition back to the planet/being friends with Geth wouldn't be very smooth. But we have to make sure if still primarily focuses on Tali as well.

It could be Tali's mission, so you do what she orders. It could also open some wounds around Rael, and what he was planning. (Remember, xen gives you that email in me2).

@bazzag that idea couldn't work because it would only apply to the group that saved both the geth and the quarians.

Perhaps for those Who killed the geth it could just be a Leadership/Government dispute. Eg people Thinking The old ways of government should end And make way for a new form.

Well, it just alters slightly. If you destroyed the geth, then xen could be recreating them or summat, and if the quarians were destroyed, thenImage IPBImage IPBImage IPB

If the quarians are killed then I just think there would be no missions, because there is no tali for then to relate to. This is tali dlc after all.

Exactly, gaar. If you destroyed the quarians, then you miss out.

Point is they likely couldn't do any kind of major DLC revolving around Tali because there are too many variables. I can see it happening in epilogue scenes, but not anything big or gameplay related as there's the possibility she can die.

Doing something revolving around Xen would definitely be a cool idea for a Tali DLC. Plus, you know, more of Claudia Black's voice is never a bad thing.

Alternatively, have something come up that relates to Tali's past, something to do with her mother. We've heard all about Rael'Zorah, but Tali's mother has been barely acknowledged to exist. Now I understand why they chose to do that, but still a DLC that teaches us more about Tali's family would be cool. It would also be easier to integrate as it doesn't depend on the state of the geth.

But unfortunately, I find it unlikely that there will be a major Tali DLC considering she's a character that needn't even be alive in all playthroughs. Unless they do it as part of a "romance DLC" that contains stuff for all LIs.

Tis a shame indeed. But it would be nice if every few months (so they have time to make it all good and everything) they released a new LI dlc which gave an in depth mission/set if missions for each LI.

I can see why they wouldn't.
They want to make DLC that every one of the people playing their game would be interested in. A *insert name here* extensive romance DLC would only interest *insert name here*mancers.
That's why it would be more practical to have simply a romance pack with everyone in it, just they'd have much less cutscenes than they would in their own exclusive DLC.

Meeting talis mother would be cool for a dlc, especially when you think of all the kiss ass comments shep could make when he meets her.

"So, i can see where tali gets her good looks from"

Tali's mother is dead, so meeting her would be a bit difficult. I merely suggested something that would teach us more about her. Image IPB

Its a Shame we Never get To meet Her father (At least while he's alive), I can Imagine The hilarity.

Also sorry for my erratic capitalising Words, My phone is retarded With The forums for some reason and I can't be bothered uncapsing everything.

At the same time tho, why shouldn't all the LIs and indeed, some squaddies get there own exclusive dlc? I wouldn't mind. I'm a completionist. I have many sheps, each with different love interests and such, and if you don't want it, you don't have to get it.

Well my Shepard is looking forward to meeting the nearest 342 assorted cousins, aunts, uncles of Tali's closest family.

I think so. Theres probably plenty of fans from all sides to make it worthwhile.
