I agree, people for some reason just hate them in general. It's like choosing an actor for a play, just because you don't like one of them doesn't mean you can just cancel the play because you feel all the actors don't appeal to you. You keep letting them try out and find one you like.

Yeah it's a bad quote or a good one in your opinion, I think it's a good comparison.

Anyone want to see Shepard call ANYONE that offends Tali and Shep's relationship a bosh'tet? That would be in my top ten moments of the game. :happy:

I read Razors Edge over the course of 14 straight hours.  Then I read another one that made me want to throw my laptop out a window halfway through the first chapter.  It's just really hard, with all the in depth characters of Mass Effect, to write new material, that stays true to the characters personalities.  that's why I tend to write about original characters, with the occasional cameo by one of the main storyline characters. 

As for the topic of Tali, I downloaded the 2nd costume pack, and while Miranda's and Grunts are awesome, I really can't figure out how I feel about Tali's.  I love it, then I hate it.  I think it's the fact that it's missing the purple swirls.

I'm hoping that reporter who tries to make you look like an idiot asks questions about my relationship with Tali.  It'll be one of the few moments where I go pure renegade on someone.

I've been patient with that **** for a while.  If she tries to mock, and or insult my relationship with Tali, then that patience is up.
I can see the interview now

Reporter: Shepard, rumor's have it that you may be in a relationship with a quarian of all things. Now it's obvious that these rumors are false, but do you have anything to say about them regardless?

Shepard: Yes, I do. First off, those rumors are completely true.

Reporter: But she's a- (shepard cuts her off)

Shepard: Secondly, she's not a thing, she's a quarian, a person. Tali'Zorah vas Normandy, a proud member of the Migrant fleet.

Reporter: I still don't see how- (shepard cuts her off again)

Shepard: Thirdly, the person you're referring to as a thing, is one of the only reason this god damn station is still standing. If it wasn't for her support, human colonies would still be disapearing, and the collectors would still be at large.

Reporter: This still doesn't explain-

Shepard, in a cold, intimidating voice: Cut me off... One more time. Tali'Zorah is the one thing that keeps me going. When I can't move on any farther, she pulls me through. When I lose all hope, she brings it back to me. If you can't see what that means to me, then you're not worth my time.

Reporter: So what you're saying is that you'd prefer to love a suit, instead of a normal human being?

Shepard: (Gives a cold glare) Is this camera transmitting live?

Reporter: Yes, why?

Shepard: (Pulls out phalanx pistol, and lets the laser sight rest on her forehead) You're lucky I don't consider you worth a shot. (Points pistol at camera) This interview is over. (shoots camera)

Personally I think it would be a Paragon option, my reasoning being your defending the relationship by calling the reporter a bosh'tet then probably an option directly afterwards to Punch/Slap her or any physical contact Renegade option should be available I just think defending your relationship shouldn't be bad as much as showing how much you care for Tali therefore making it Paragon. Considering I just never feel right on the inside when I did my renegade play throughs. I just always loved Paragon considering ONE OF the best moments in the game maybe THE best but I'd have to elaborate, which would be Hugging Tali.

I actually did borrow your shooting the camera idea.  However, because this would be going out to a human audience, I figured it wouldn't make sense to use it.  Especially since my Shepard doesn't no what the word means either.

Glad you liked it though.  I can't play renegade either, so I play paragon, and reserve my renegade bits for criminals, politicians, and the media.

I'm not a violent brute so that's fine with me.

I'm not either.  Unless I'm dealing with her or Udina, I tend to opt for the peaceful solution to things.  I just hate politicians and most aspects of the media.

Well Udina did almost screw over the galaxy.  Multiple times, so I think he's really got it coming.  As for that reporter, I wasn't going to hit her.  I was just going to shoot her camera.  There's a difference.

Same here. You do good Mini-Fic work and I hope it doesn't turn out to be just Fan-Fic.
But Yes I have the same view on Politicians, In ME they're all just no snobby and uncareful for any species but teh council species. They're just so ignorant and annoying. After I read they threatened to Bomb the Planet the Quarians placed small colonies before they asked yeah they didn't ask first but really? I was about to start a new game (I have the Comic Genesis) and kill the council. They don't help you in any way but threaten people and ignore one of the most valuble species we have.

I literally FLARED in rage after I read that planet's description. I immediatly afterwards started a new game for my Attempt at trying a sacrifice the council option. Haven't gotten far enough to see the new council or if there is no council.

Coudn't fix the all in one quote sorry.
