I think you'll find that if you go back some pages, me and elitepredator brought reegar back to life. We had the tech, but not the resources, so we recycled some geth parts, creating reegar prime, a quarian/geth hybrid. He's badass, like robocop.

Everyone on the Normandy is owed a good chunk of selfishness. Tali and Shep certainly deserve some quality time together without the spectre of impending doom looming over their most intimate moments.

They certainly do deserve it. But thanks to BW, things are far from over. Once they all finish with their return of the Jedi style street party, things could get ugly fast. I do hope they do get some time together though and at least their lives shouldn't be in immediate danger (Shepards probably the only person everybody trusts at that stage, well maybe everybody, depends how Joker feels about him blowing up his girlfriend).

As for the corny stuff, I don't see why they couldn't indulge. Once it clicks in that they do indeed have more time, it may be hard for them to stop smiling for the next few years at least (Shepard may have to take up wearing a mask himself).

I don't think Tali would like being in the position of authority. It's just not her style. She likes the freedom of invisibility, of being underneath the radar. She doesn't like extra attention, and while she is an amazing friend, she cannot stand strangers having expectations of her.

I think Tali's more suited to being one of those champion-type characters that disappears once troubles are over and always pops up when you need her, like with Shepard.

There...much better.

And I concur, her first two commands, everybody died, and if not, only Shepard's the reason that anybody made it out alive, anyway. Even if Shepard is a Torfan commander, he probably won't be able to get her over that. So, she'll just stay in the command line behind Shepard.

Well, that stuff was... over. The diplomacy, the duct taping of the mass relays, getting everyone back to their homeworlds...
Then Shep said "screw it" and then we get this in a few days.
Hence why "When the Reapers were destroyed" is nostalgic.

Hopes held high for the extended ending, prepared for it not being worth the disc platter the bits are written to.

Lol, busy, busy. I've been trying to read through all the old post btw,speaking of Fanfics Bazzag. I saw you mentioning something about writing one about Tali during her journey before meeting Shep or something like that. I would love to read that if you ever finish.

Ive been dying to write one that takes place during the start of mass effect 2 when the Normandy is attacked. A fanfic based on everything through Tali's eyes. It would deal with everything from that point up to the moment she meets Shep again. 

I think it would be interesting because we don't know much about what she did during those two years. We never got to see how she grived for Shep. What life was like for her when she returned from her journey with Shep to take down Seren. Joining a new crew and so much more.

The only problem is I suck at writing. I'm good at thinking big picture, but awful with words to the page. I would actually pay someone if they could write a fanfic like that.

So we seem to be hitting the realm of spin off TV shows/movies featuring Mass Effect cast members. I like it. For a cop story though, we should have the unsuitable partners thing. So like Legion (by the book) and Garrus (bending the rules).

Well, the only way to get good at it is by keeping at it. If it's terrible you can re-write it. Plus there are a number of talented writers here that can offer constructive suggestions on improving it. The idea sounds good. Why not have a bash at it?

I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING
And that something was to tell you how awesome your drawings are, Revan.
And you're right. She must be cute to draw. Just like she's cute to write about... Even if it is a little amateur. But it's better than My Immortal, so I must be doing something right.
Now to flesh out the personalities of my OCs, as soon as I'm not tired.
(funny how I always have the good ideas when there's nowhere to write them)

Perhaps Wrex would be a better host. Aside from the headbutting, Grunt would probably just get people calling in to ask him about his size. But Wrex get's some of the best lines (in ME), so should ace it.

Now Tali would could be good for the producer role. Miranda would be the analy retentive station boss while Shepard is a cop friend that links the chat story together with real life events (and of course is dating Tali).

Thanks for the words of encouragement. After reading your comment I think your right. I didn't know how to do a lot of stuff before attempting to do it. It's funny that I think my writing sucks because people have told me i'm okay at it, plus I make a living from blogging in the real world so you would think that provides me a good foundation.

I think I will take a stab at this story and as I go along I can seek feedback and ideas from everyone. Maybe even come up with a decent rough draft and someone else can help me smooth it out. I really want to create a good story about Tali's life during those missing  two years at the start of Mass Effect 2 because I felt Bioware sort of cheated us on that.

It was oh, Shep is alive, happy to see you, lets work together. In Lair of the Shadow Broker we learned a lot about what Liara was doing, but I think we should have a chance for Tali as well. I was always interested to see how Tali dealt with the "Supposed" death of her captian and future love interest.

Now, I was wondering if anyone here has some links to some good Tali Fanfics that I can read. I want to start reading a few to help me with ideas and stimulating my thoughts. I keep hearing people talk about them, but I don't know where they are located.

Does anyone have some links to some well written Tali Fanfit. I don't care if it deals with end of me3 or whatever.
Well, thank you to everyone here for the support and wish me luck. I'll start brainstorming on my fanfic for Tali dealing with the missing 2 years.
