Maybe I spend to much time thinking about Tali.. maybe not.
Since vas means 'crew of the', I don't think she would. If anything, it would be most likely the name of the city/town she and Shepard build their home. Vas would be no more, replaced by the quarian word for 'from the town of' or 'of the town' and then the name of the town.
ex. Tali'Zorah il London. (If a city on Rannoch were called London that is.)
Also, If Shepard had to change his last name to Zorah, mine would do it in less than a heartbeat.

How far did they go?
I would say that you would need to describe it more as an emotion, a feeling. What is going through their mind, as oppposed to running commentary.
You would need to explain some parts, but i'd say the 'down 'n' dirty' part would need to be more of a thoughts thing instead of action.
Would have helped earlier, but i wasn't on
