"...I ken hez action figure ?"

*rubs eyes*

Wait...is that what she actually looks like if you take the mask off?  If so, then...

*Runs over to Tali and gives her a big hug + kiss on her neck*

"I love you, Tali."

I wonder if they based the face off of Ash Stroka...not sure.

Exactly. Throughout most of ME2 I was thinking does anyone else seem to care that Shep was brought back from the dead. To me, I would thought this would have sparked conversations about an afterlife and other topics, but I guess Bioware didn't want to go there. It also seemed characters just accepted this too easily in me2. Tail first saw Shep and it seemed like oh, you were missing for two years, pretty much dead and now your here...cool, let's work together.

Im addressing that in my fanfic I'm working on which takes place during those missing to years. Basically the story of Tali during that time from her viewpoint and journey entries.

So I plan to address what was really going on in her mind when she saw commander Sheperd again.

Well it would be hard to guage anyones reactions to somone not being dead, but I assume most people thought he never really died but was in the hospital the whole time near death, when in reality they were scraping him off that planet with chisels and black bags

If you read the link, its a mod by a fan, the real action figure has no removable/changeable head

Yeah, that's true. I guess it just seemed that everyone accepted too easy, but I guess your right. No way to know how an alien race will handle the news your still alive. Plus, they were all on that missions which had them busy worrying about staying alive.

Ah, bugger.  Well, no matter what, I still love her.  She's got that charm of hers.  I've been indoctrinated by Tali, and im loving every moment of it.

He does but the whole thing is much cooler with the Renegade interrupt.  Also, imho, it was more in keeping with character.  Shep perfers peaceful solutions but isn't afraid to bring the pain when deserved.  Plus some dude is gonna sword stab me in the back I will make sure he is dead, period.

TIMs death, fully paragoned his ass so he shot himself, was tragic and sad and a waste.  It also felt too much like a Saren throwback imho.  I have problems with the Cerebus angle throughout really because it did not fit with the Cerebus I worked with in ME2.  It didn't even fit with the ME1 version which was shadowy but not stupid like ME3 Cerebus became.  At the end of ME2 while we split ways at least I had some respect for what TIM was trying to do even if we disgreed on methods.

But like Tali said on the base, "He needs to die."

I do love that line.

Some of the renegade interupts in ME3 are a bit strange and seem largely redundant. They didn't really bug me because I play a mix of renegade and paragon anyway (I like to play an anti-hero, not a douche bag).

I agree about Cerberus. I get that they are indoctrinated, but given they don't seem to realise it themselves some of their goals are a bit... strange. I don't see how stopping the Genophage cure helps TIM control the Reapers, why interfere in that stuff at all? Supposedly there was a renegade faction at work on that civilian world, which wasn't followed up (but has DLC written all over it) that I suppose could be a more indoctrinated part. But yeah, it was strange.

Yeah I noticed they didn't follow up with that storyline either. I agree, screams DLC content. I'm guessing a group that didn't agree with TIM Reaper ideas and still cared more about humanities place in the universe. I also play Shep as a mix between renegade and paragon. Seems more realistic to me with everything he gots going on.

All I can think of is that shepard put it to the back of his mind for the time being in a, well I am here and I am needed so lets move on, and it all catches up to him in me3

It's exactly this.  It was a combination of avoiding thinking about the fact that Shep died and was brought back and teh fact that there was a big problem that needed solving.  It's like dealing with grief, sometimes you avoid it until you are ready to deal with it.

And Shep never really asks fully about how bad it was.  Figure that it's one of those things that it might be better to not know

That makes sense. When a good friend of mine died I did the same thing. I didn't really deal with his death until years later. When I was mentally able to handle it.

Random Tali thought. Why is it that people can't see through Tali's mask. I've noticed sometimes we can see her face outline. Is it tinted?

Other than their eyes, sometimes I can see their noses.  Tali used to have a BIG nose in ME1, then it wasn't really that big.  On the other hand, Admiral Raan has a BIG nose in ME2 and 3.

*drinks Canadian whiskey* In ME1, her glass has different colors, including pink. You see a lot of her face through that. I however believe it's because she's used to it, and because the suit is filled with something disinfecting everything, like a constant mist. After all, when she gets shot, she has not only to close the part of the suit up, but some might escape before, still, and the rest of the suit must handle it.

Also, just so her face is secret. She had slight issues, thinking she's not beautiful enough.

I still wonder what the Hanar trader thought when I and my squadmates, including Tali, undressed right in front of him and in full sight of the Citadel financial district to put on the new armor we bought...

I don't think visor tint has anything to do with Tali specifically wanting to hide her face. If it was only her then it wouldn't be such a mystery as to what Quarians looked like. I like your other idea though. You'd think that given the Quarians had a reputation for being beautiful even as primatives, they would have been considered one of the more attractive species when they were forced to flee there homeworld. In that case, why would they choose to design suits that cover those looks? Seems to me it must have been either shame at losing their homeworld or for biological reasons. The disenfecting mist idea works for me.

As for the Hanar trader... Well that's why they stopped allowing people to change in the Presidium after ME1.

See, I thought the same thing. That she had some type of disinfecting myst inside her suit and that caused the purple tint. I can't remember seeing anyone else with a purple tint.

Yeah I remember a tali saying she had some self confident issues dealing with being stuck behind the suit.

Maybe Tali just jazzed up her suit with the purple tint ;) lol

Agreed. I'm sure the different helmet changed the way the face was displayed, plus just graphical changes as the game progressed. Still it was pretty cool the way we saw more of her face outline in the first game. Really made you think about what she looked like more in my opinion.

She does like her purple tint.

Makes me wonder if Quarians have very sensitive eyes from all those years in likely poorly lighted ships. I have only ever seen them with fairly dark tint glass.

H,mm... Good question. I mean, for some reason in their species evolution they developed eyes without pupils since their eyes seem to be completely white. I wonder if that does have something to do with it. I would think, as you said being in suits and ships most of their life their eyes could be affected.

Lol, the way my Tali shoots the walls sometimes in game does make me wonder. Still love her though ;)
