It's kind of weird. ME is the only science fiction I know that doesn't capitalize the names of alien species.

Yeah, it trips people up.
But the clue is, the species aren't named after their planet. They have names like we do.
You would capitalise Earthling, after all.

Hmm so you only capitalize when they are named after the planet?

yea that does throw me off.  I honestly thought the subtitles guys where messing up when not capitalizing species names.

Meh, they messed up when they did. Usually in DLC, but I caught one instance in ME3 vanilla.

It kind of makes sense in a way. We don't capitalize other species' names on earth after all, like tiger or elephant. Still, it's unusual, and they do occasionally get it wrong even in-game.

As much as Bioware has earned my ire, i will still probably buy the Tali one along w/ Legion and Garrus, provided they are as awesome as these concepts.

Actually I wonder if the harmful factor goes both ways,  would dextro food be lethal to a human or just give a serious case of the ****s.

I know that Shep could not just get a shake at Carvel and share it with Tali though.

However once the relays are rebuilt I am sure there will be plenty of Dextro foods to buy Tali at the Rannoch Walmart.
