Haha yeah I can be a bit thick sometimes. :P
I was like what do my appearance and personality have to do with my sleeping habits? O_o

I'd imagine not having eyelids would make it uncomfortable. :P

Couple that with a paranoia and insomniaImage IPB

Yeah I was going to romance Miranda until I talked to her and realising she had about as much personality as sand stone. Also I would have thought it would have been liar a vs tali as well, baz.

Haha sometimes I wish for insomnia. It would make studying and doing homework a hell of a lot easier. :P

I liked Miranda until I found out that she has a pretty trivial role and disappointing romance arc in ME3.
I had 2 files for ME2. One with Miranda and one with Tali, but I'm not going to play out the Miranda one in ME3 cause I don't see much point now.

I personally thought Miranda was kind of a jerk:

"Wah, my genes are perfect; I'll out live everyone except Grunt and Samara, I'm immune to disease, have powerful biotics, I'm beautiful, intelligent, and have a rich father. So I'm going to run away from home and join a terrorist orginization."

How many people would have killed for her problems?

EDIT: Wait, paranoia? Of what? Getting a fly stuck on your eye? (Officially creeping myself out.)

I have one shep for each romance, tho the two that are ready for me3 is my tali shep and the jacob shep. Now its annoying because i want my femshep to have a romance with someone, but i don't want to go and take someone elses hubby. Bloody JacobImage IPB

I too also like Miranda. She always makes me chuckle when you first meet her, with her cold calculating lines over shooting wilson.

I think it's just that Miranda is misunderstood. It's not that she doesn't appreciate her gifts for what they are, it's that they become a wall for her. Other people see her as "perfect" and she doesn't want that. She wants people to see past that and realize that she's just as human as everyone else. She just wants to feel normal. So she puts up a wall of a cold and heartless wench to push people away because she's very slow to trust - likely because of how her father treated her (like she was some kind of science fair project and that his only goal was to get that gold ribbon, not have a daughter).

But I digress...

Slightly ironic, considering Tali must feel similar, considering he talk with Shep in ME2. Then there's the fact that they have fathers they didn't get along with. Hmm....

Yeah they touched on that similarity when Tali was drunk.
She revealed that she was jealous of how Miranda was able to deal with her father in a way that she knew she never could - among other things.

Everyone seems to have at least one parent which has some big impact on their lives (miranda running from father, tali trying to live up to hers, every other character in everything ever) I have rather normal sleep patterns because my mum rages at me when I'm at at 2am because I keep her awake somehow :/

I admire Tali on how she still tried to prove to her father despite he's already deceased.

Admirable in my opinion.

Well if you listen to music every time you're awake, that's a pretty good reason considering your choice in music. :P

When you think about it, ME2 was full of parent problems: Miranda, Tali, Jacob, Thane and Samara.

Then there's Jack, who didn't have parents. She just HAD to be difficult. XD

That's because in Mass Effect robo nannies exist, so people don't understand what it means to be a good parent anymore. :P

I felt bad in ME1 how Tali didn't get much credit for giving the evidence against Saren.

But it seems to pay off later. (If you know what I mean).

Hahaha it doesn't matter what you're listening to if the volume is down, I mostly use headphones anyway. Apparently the light from my room shines out through my window onto the balcony which reflects into my mums room. Even when I have my light off she still gets angry if I'm up at 2 anyway, its rather annoying, I thought I stopped having bed time when I was 12 D:

On the other hand Tourette syndrome is more entertaining for friends and colleagues. Image IPB

EDIT and PS:

Parent issues winner could also be one of the Shepards...

Robo nannies are in some codex entry... Can't remember where.

@skwisgaar
Can I ask how old you are? What I would do anyways is shut the light off, and then be prepared for if she comes in to pretend to be sleeping.

17, I've found that going down stairs with my laptop seems to work. Haha I feel like I'm 12 again, trying to avoid going to sleep on time xD

Wow someone younger than me exists in this thread?! I mean it's only a year difference but still I thought I was like a fetus compared to everyone else.
