Adoption is possible after the possible war with GETH or battles with Reapers where some kids might lose their parents, so it's never unlikely. As for hybrids, I have no idea about this but wouldn't it be possible to use an Asari to take genetic information from both Tali and Shep and just meld it together ?
That is how Asari reproduce, but instead of having an Asari become a mother, just have her process the genetic information and use that data to give Tali a child with Human and Quarrian DNA data, in overall, the child would be a quarrian with some genetic variations that of humans, like adapting immune system. After all, we humans are like bacteria, hell of a lot adaptive, using an Asari as a Medium for data process wouldn't be something strange. In fact, I have no idea why such an advanced civilization set like Salarians and Asari never even thought about that. Also, human race is probably the trigger for Reapers to feel threatened, wiping civs every 50k years doesn't allow a stubborn civilization to pop out, and as we know it, humans are darn hell stubborn on survival. Asari are deadly but soft and all that, Krogans have already been stopped and are halted for now, saving the Rachni in this setup point where Krogans are in no condition to fight the Reapers efficiently was the right choice (hence Paragon points). What I really hate about BW is that they progress the default player as a Renegade (reviewing all the choices done in the default play, Shepard is a Renegade) not allowing us to define the choices in a ME2 new game set.
In theory, using the Salarian intelligence and Asari DNA information processing, hell, even using the GETH to fast process the data in computers, creating a possibility for Tali to have a fairly normal Quarrian child with Shepard, using his innate immune system information, would vastly benefit the Quarrians, there is no need for some miracle cure, just simple science lol.
That's not how the asari reproduction work though... Nothing is really taken from the father, the child is basically a clone of the mother but during the melding as far as I understand it, the mother sort of analyses the genetic material of the father and uses that as a sort of guideline to randomise the genes of her offspring. And that's how you get an Asari. There's no way that you can get a Quarian baby out of that though.
